"Very disappointed as I book premier inn all over the country,"
Staff were very abrupt and rude, demanding we were to be in our room by 10pm. We were informed about work getting done, and would start at 8am in the morning, but not during the weekend, hammer drills started at 7am, doors getting ripped of rooms, and to not have barriers on the paths where wood, nail guns, saws were lying , meant we had to walk on the grass, which was really wet and muddy after the downpour of rain over the weekend.

"Get someone else to cook a steak"
Don't ask for the mixed grill or a steak at the restaurant brewers fayre next door. Steak was cremated 1 side and well done. Asked for a replacement and 2nd steak was still well done instead of medium again - but atleast it wasn't burnt.
Also the half chicken breast was totally missing from the mixed grill!
Thankfully I had a 25% voucher so I don't feel hard done by. I received compensation in the way of a couple of free drinks but needless to say I don't recommend and won't be back. Sorry everyone in the kitchen, I don't know what happened tonight.

"Disappointed"
Arrived at 2pm & told rooms were still not ready, booked 2 rooms at same time for family & we were put in entirely different buildings. Food was very poor & over cooked & living to long.

"Need to sort breakfast out"
Stay here often with work. Lots of parking. Retail park close by. Depending on what building they put you in will dictate how noisy your room is. One building has really squeaky floors and you don’t want be in a ground floor room there! Sometimes the place is clearly quiet but you still get allocated a room in another building. So never assume you’ll be anywhere near reception/where you park your car. Rooms are on par with the brand, probably not perfectly clean but I’ve never seen anything outrageous. Staff have always been fine.
Biggest issue for me is breakfast. The last 3 occasions in recent weeks I’ve been there between 08:30-0900. Each time there is hardly anything left to eat from the cooked selection. I’m not over exaggerating, last time there was luke warm beans, mushrooms and scrambled eggs. Everything else was empty. 2 out of 3 last occasions the coffee machine wouldn’t work due to something needing emptied. In the past the breakfast area was maintained and topped up to cater for the full breakfast hours, but this seems to have went by the wayside. I feel the breakfast caters for the many labourers who use this hotel and are in breakfast earlier. Anyone else can just have the scraps…which is even worse for tourists who are paying for this out their own pocket.
