"Enjoyed stay - will be back next year (fourth year) block of 7/8 rooms"
rooms great - staff great - brekkie good this part of Aberdeen is NOT flat , if you have mobility issues - be warned seagulls and early morning (6:15) bin lorries a drawback. still very good
"No seems to be the major word"
well I booked a twin room back in February - got there and got a double bed and a couch made up as a bed. Luckily my friend slept okay on the couch! Not what I had booked. we got two towels for the two of us - luckly the domestic trolley was there, so we got two more - 2 people need 2 towels each! I noticed that this hotel had removed the stool from the hairdryer and make up mirror. No glasses! When we asked (yes you have to ask) for the room to be made up we again got only two towels - we had naively thought that would give us clean mugs, but no the filthy mugs were left. We had to go down to ask reception for more towels! Breakfast - rubbish, first morning I asked for a poached egg - was shouted at in some Eastern Europe language - then another lady in the team shouted at me in English"no- we are busy!) Porridge similar - we had to have the congealed fried egg - nothing else, and the shrivelled dried up black pudding from two days ago (at least) bacon dripping in fat and shrivelled. No scrambled eggs on offer - and when another lady asked for her child she too was told no. They were busy! this continued for the three days I was there. Then on the last night, I thought I would try the dinner there - asked politely for a table for one (friend had to leave earlier) told no. there was lots of empty tables, and no suggestions were made to me and another couple asking for tables "NO" by the way, there are a large number of steps into the hotel - no accessibility or help for anyone with luggage!
"Overpriced rundown with no helpful staff"
The place is as rundown as it looks, the room carpet was needing attention. No staff at checkin. A poster telling you to look it up on the internet would be more helpful.
    "Needs some changes"
We always book a Premier Inn wherever we go. This one did not live up to expectations. Avoid the house red! I could not take a second sip of the wine they served up. Breakfast was also a bit ‘tired’ as the fried eggs had been sitting a while and were hard.
    "A good stay"
We had a good stay while visiting the Tall Ships races. Everything was fine. Breakfast good. We managed to get a car parking space but the car parks not huge. It is £10 a day to park. They can recommend other options for parking. Its very centrally located. The new Union Square shopping centre seems like very nice if that's your plan to do some clothes shopping. The beach is nice. We did a lot of waking!
