"Premier inn needs a commendation"
These guys deserve a commendation as they are doing a fantastic job! Amanda (manager ) runs a great hotel where it is a pleasure to stay . Staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean and tidy .
A huge mention must be made to the chef ( yes finally a chef in one of these hotels ! ) who takes care and pride in serving food . I can’t recommend this guy enough! Breakfast was an excellent meal for a change ( I do loads of work away and visit many hotels and have had really poor experiences over the last few years ) . So please give credit where it is due . Thomas you made a seasoned hotel guest an exceptional breakfast for my entire weeks stay , thank you 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"A premier inn that cares"
We all know that premier inn hotels have lost their business model and standards have dropped drastically over the past five years. I have stayed in some horrid ones for business. The staff are up against so many issues that they have to deal with daily with no to little support from Whitbread.
I stay in PI half of the year.
Aberdeen Anderson drive is one of the best I have visited for a very long time. The staff ananda and Thomas are amazing, passionate and really want to make a difference. Five star to the breakfast chef Thomas … I don’t usually have breakfast as they are so bad, but on this occasion I did. Fresh well cooked and presented. Thomas delivered with care and passion for his work.
Come on Whitbread , reward the great staff that you have and do something about the wrong ones ! Your business model needs drastic changes

"Acceptable stay"
Was meant to stay two nights but mistakenly turned up a day early. Girl at the reception very kindly helped us sort an extra night. Had booked our stay when prices were very reasonable and free breakfasts were in the offer.
Had chosen this premier inn just as a base to visit some of the surrounding castles etc just basically wanted to be accessible to both the city and surrounding countryside with free parking. My initial impression of the area was not that great and certainly not as I had imagined. Got the impression that this premier inn is used for visiting all the Aberdeen hospitals which were relatively close by and is not exactly tourist central.
The staff were all nice and friendly. There was a bus stop relatively close by into the centre of town, and a toby carvery restaurant next door which is independent from the Premier inn. Food here was the same as any other Toby carvery which we enjoyed a meal at one evening.
The Premier inn itself only has a very small breakfast room, which we had to book a time slot for. The food fine, same as all hotels but the room probably was a couple of bedrooms converted to a breakfast room. All a bit dated compared to the refurbished restaurant rooms. Our room was large as we had booked a family room, the normal dated look but it works for me, and had a bath which the older inns tend to have which is what I prefer. The internet signal worked and windows could open slightly. Overall good sleep. Quiet and clean on the second floor. Do get a bit annoyed that cleaning has to be requested and you have to ask for fresh towels. Even if bins were emptied daily this would be a big improvement. Have enjoyed staying in premier inns for years but the overall experience has gone down with restaurants closing and cleaning curbed.

"Weekend stay"
Good location for travel into city centre. Nice clean room. Nice large comfortable bed. Only drawback was that the room was so hot it was uncomfortable for sleeping.
