St Andrews hotel

Great parking and location. Clean comfortable hotel, everything you need. What made it stand out was the service from staff member Darren. Polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. An absolute gem of a gent. Thank you.

Over the years we stayed in countless premier inn over the country most notably the one in Greasby, the wirral which we hear has sadly changed hands . We stayed at the Premier in this weekend, we arrived early approximately 20mins , and l attempted to book in , l was told the room was ready but to our utter amazement we were told there would be a charge of £15 if we got in early! Why l asked ? The reply was that's the way it is. Absolutely disgraceful ! Why on earth if the room was ready were we expected to pay extra on a premier plus room which we had paid £240 for the overnight stay and breakfast. We want a full explanation for this outrage, l will be phoning the area manager first thing tomorrow morning. Another issue was there was one bath towel in the bathroom l mentioned this to the individual at breakfast reception of this situation, silly us thinking this would be rectified by the time we had breakfast, wrong! We stayed at the Premier inn at oban 2 weeks aga and encountered no problems. Whether we return will depend on the response on this review, and the results of my conversation with the area manager tomorrow.. No one was there when we checked out as l was more than willing to discuss these issues

As basic as it gets not suited to a place like St Andrews but want to charge St Andrews prices. £100 plus per night for room only is ridiculous. Room basic as they come Faulty sink in two rooms we booked which reported and told they would fix but didn’t

Very enjoyable stay with the great night's sleep I have come to expect at Premier Inn. The staff were excellent, very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I recommend the breakfast as the chef cooks poached or scrembled eggs on request, which were perfect. The bed, bedroom fixtures, aircon and bathroom fittings were to the usual high standards of the new reburshishment although, being slightly picky, the general quality of the rooms had not had quite the refurb of some Premier Inns.
