Glenrothes hotel

Great stay pub and restaurant side only partially open at breakfast and evening meal so no bar service in-between also restaurant looking run down carpets very worn and breakfast always luke warm left under heat lamps to dry out.

A very pleasant experience staying here at the Glenrothes Premier Inn. Room was lovely and clean and cosy. Check-in procedure very swift and easy. Even handed me a charger plug for my phone as I left mine at home-thankyou. Staff were lovely and very polite. Food in the restaurant next door was delicious and great value for money. I had both the evening meal and breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when I next visit the area.

We usually trust a premier inn, whilst the bed was incredibly comfy as always, it felt like this premier inn had been forgotten about when it comes to love & care. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was the perfect space, but it wasn’t clean and actually I felt like I needed a shower after having a shower. All it needs is some TLC. Great location for us for what we needed. Definitely on the pricy side, but I’m unsure if that’s because we stayed there in August. We didn’t need our room making up while we were there but we did ask for them to replenish the toilet paper, came back later that day and it had been left on the side in a pile… I wouldn’t stay again unless it undergoes a refurbished.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the recent August bank holiday weekend. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean with no problems. The breakfasts were very nice with a good choice of different things. The staff were very nice and friendly and any queries were dealt with promptly. We would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Room 10. The room was satisfactory, the bathroom sadly was not. I had to ask for a clean pillow case when we arrived which was at midnight. We did not realise until the next day the extent of the black mould in the bathroom. We knew the hotel was full that weekend to an Ice Hockey fixture. The bathroom needs a deep clean and repainting with a new shower curtain and door. New grouting if possible. I have reported this to premier inn and sent videos and photos. Still awaiting a reply.
