Dunfermline hotel

Great hotel nice helpful staff kept update due to restaurant getting upgraded but plenty places to eat around hotel. Always found hotel clean and staff well dressed and spoken

The staff were great and very helpful and accommodating for my elderly father in law. We had Premier Plus rooms which were excellent, spotless and nice decor. Location is a little remote but plenty of eateries on retail park and not too far from town centre.

We arrived to not being able to get into our room, 3 attempts later and a member of staff trying they changed us to another room. The room was cold, heater didn’t work and wood had chipped off the side unit next to the bed. Feeling unhappy I decided to check the bed linen, a small stain on the bottom sheet that didn’t fit the mattress! Our first night was awful, the pillow was lumpy and I woke up with an awful back ache. It seems a shame that after 5 years of stopping in this premier inn, the rooms have slowly become tired and tatty! Why haven’t one of the biggest chain of hotels up graded to a walk - in shower. Climbing over a bath is no fun ! I even noticed mould in the corner of the room Sorry premier I won’t be stopping here again !

On checking in the receptionist was so helpful and gave us a very warm welcome. We were absolutely delighted at the Premier Plus room. The new plush stylish interior and the comfort of the room was amazing. We ate at the newly opened restaurant and was not disappointed by the food and the restaurant staff were so friendly, helpful and just added to an overall excellent experience to our stay. Ten out of ten.

stayed inn a premier plus room [315][all ground floor] for the first time and everything was fine except for the room was not as discribed on website or the in room leaflet stating there was an ARMCHAIR... in the room. so this made the stay that little less comfortable. had breakfast every morning and just same as usual good.
