Dunfermline hotel

Stayed Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th May We came up to Scotland again to visit friends and family and to watch the Scottish Cup Final. On arrival, we were greeted and told what room we were in. Me and my pregnant partner went up to Room 124 and immediately noticed the bedding hadn’t been done properly, with the bottom sheet on the wrong way round. While my partner sorted that, I went into the bathroom and noticed hair in the bath. I quickly cleaned it away because if my partner had seen it, she would’ve wanted to leave straight away. We also noticed mould in the corner of the bathroom, and the table in the room looked like it was barely being held together. When we went to brush our teeth, the sink water wouldn’t go cold and only ran hot, so we had to brush our teeth using hot water. Trying to sleep at night was another issue. The thermostat appeared broken, meaning we couldn’t turn the heating down apart from switching the radiator off at the plug. We ended up sleeping with the window open, only to hear boy racers doing donuts in the car park throughout the night. We did speak to a member of staff, but because the hotel was fully booked there was apparently nothing they could do. For the money we paid, we are very disappointed with our stay

Came here for work met the lovely Elaine in the restaurant very friendly and organised. As a solo traveller she made me feel very welcome. Thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great hotel nice helpful staff kept update due to restaurant getting upgraded but plenty places to eat around hotel. Always found hotel clean and staff well dressed and spoken

The staff were great and very helpful and accommodating for my elderly father in law. We had Premier Plus rooms which were excellent, spotless and nice decor. Location is a little remote but plenty of eateries on retail park and not too far from town centre.

We arrived to not being able to get into our room, 3 attempts later and a member of staff trying they changed us to another room. The room was cold, heater didn’t work and wood had chipped off the side unit next to the bed. Feeling unhappy I decided to check the bed linen, a small stain on the bottom sheet that didn’t fit the mattress! Our first night was awful, the pillow was lumpy and I woke up with an awful back ache. It seems a shame that after 5 years of stopping in this premier inn, the rooms have slowly become tired and tatty! Why haven’t one of the biggest chain of hotels up graded to a walk - in shower. Climbing over a bath is no fun ! I even noticed mould in the corner of the room Sorry premier I won’t be stopping here again !
