"1990's rooms in a section of hotel"
Please checked the actual room you book as theres still the 1990's style rooms which are approx £10 less.
Struggle to site on toilet without the toilet holder digging into your leg.

"Have stayed in PI Dungermline a few times, watch out though its like Fault Towers"
Check in was excellent, really friendly guy, very efficient and was in my room within 2 minutes of arriving.
I was in room 37 for 2 nights. The noise from the motorway and the car park where people sit and rev their engines, play loud music, shout and scream was absolutely shocking it was almost like not having windows. The hearing in the room didnt work either so inwas wrapped up in my hoodie and joggers to go to sleep, well I say sleep but with the noise not much of that happened.
Budget hotel yes absolutely however you dont expect even a budget hotel to get the basics wrong.

Nice hotel - bit outdated but ideal for work.
Andrew and John on the nights were pleasant and welcoming after getting back to the hotel late.

"Changed terms of booking and refused cancellation"
Booked this PI as it has the restaurant next door. Booked with meal deal. Less than a week I get notice the restaurant is closed. That's the whole reason we booked it! Tried to cancel booking as I consider this a change in booking terms by PI and were refused on the grounds it was a saver booking. Well sorry PI that is not acceptable when it is you that changed the booking. On arrival we mentioned that and were advised this is an ongoing issue with the refurbishment for many months now. So in summary PI are aware there are issues but still took the booking only to then refuse a cancellation. The room itself was ok but the sink was blocked. Clearly a lack of attention to detail but this PI is scheduled for refurbishment. Probably why there are issues.

You don't have to go far to be entertained at Premier Inn Hotel Dunfermline. We're at the heart of a leisure park, with fantastic entertainment for all the family including a cinema, bowling alley and crazy golf. There are plenty of tourist attractions and business venues nearby too.
If you're here in the summer, T in the Park is just up the road. Or make a beeline for Carnegie Hall to see a great show. Have fun driving from A to B at Knockhill Racing Circuit. Or simply stroll through Dunfermline and see the A-listed buildings. Then come back to the hotel for great food at our on-site Premier Inn restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.
