    "Angela was great"
    The food on an evening and breakfast was very nice and the staff in the restaurant and bar were very nice and helpfull especially Angela. I gave it a 4 as my shower screen was clearly hanging off

    Great service from Angela in the restaurant, very friendly and welcoming. Also very helpful colleagues at reception.
    "One night stay"
    Stayed for one night. Clean room, made adjustments to make the double a twin room when we asked with no fuss. We asked for advice from Angela during breakfast for where to visit around Annan and she was extremely helpful. Gave lots of ideas for where to visit and was lovely to chat too. Offered to make us a breakfast basket to take away on our travels too. Really lovely staff.

    Breakfast was the highlight of our trip. Not only was the food lovely (great porridge) but the ladies in charge of breakfast were brilliant. Angela was great fun, and helped us in our game of sending photos of a naughty teddy bear to our grandchildren. But both Angela and Anna were great at their proper jobs too. They zipped around helping everyone with children, and elderly couple had things brought to them instead of self serving and they had a cheery smile and word for everyone.
