    "Not the best premier inn we have stayed in, stayed in so many. No aircon and room far away but parking was good"
    Hotel was in a great location. Room was super hot and no air con. Fan did nothing. Furthest room away control ages to walk to, no lifts

    The restaurant experience was spot on for what we needed as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children. The staff were so friendly and nice, the service quick and the food plentiful. The breakfast the following day was one of the best I have eaten. Freshly cooked, ample portions and variety and on top of all that really lovely staff once again. I would like to especially thank Heather and Elaine who were on breakfast duty and extended such a warm friendly welcome. Staff like that are to be treasured, alongside the lovely girl who served us dinner the night before but I unfortunately didn't get her name. If I just say gravy you will hopefully work out who I mean.

    We arrived nearly 1 am from Isle of Lewis on 10-8-2025. The staffs were very helpful and kind and understanding. It was my son 19th birthday and Angela and Auna made it possible for him to have a great birthday cake and great breakfast. He was very happy. Sometimes it's not the place, it's the people and how they made you feel! Thank you-Premier Inn Dumfries. Lisa, Ben and family.
