    "Nice place to stay if visiting Dumfries Area"
    Lovely stay, family room clean and tidy as you would expect from Premier Inn. Visited the area for the jousting event at Caerlaverock. Nothing in the way of shops, food etc around the hotel which was fine for us as we had had a big day so just ate on the premises. Dinner was also lovely and fresh - can't go wrong with good pub grub!

    Great stop for a night on our way south! Room was comfy and warm, staff were friendly. The breakfast was great value, lots of variety and the service was really excellent (especially from Angela, who couldn’t do enough for us with 2 small children!).

    We stayed in the new part of the hotel for 2 nights. I have stayed several times before in the winter. The room was unbearably hot and even with a fan it was an unpleasant experience. The room was comfortable with an excellent shower but I would not stay there again during hot weather. We were desperate to get out of the room - it was not a heatwave- temperature outside was about 20-22 degrees.
