We had a couple of nights here recently. It was pretty much as we expect from PI. The room was comfortable, the bed large and comfy and a good shower room There were renovations going on so the dining room and bar were closed (We knew about this in advance) The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast of cereals, fresh fruit, orange juice, croissants and coffee or tea which was a nice touch This PI is only a couple of minutes walk to the railway station and 5 minutes to the city centre The staff were all helpful and friendly Our one small issue would be that, although we were on the first floor, the windows could not be opened at all. Not sure why they should choose to do this

"Chain hotel under construction"

Great location. Just a few blocks from the city centre. Some of the employees should be sacked for not performing their duties satisfactorily. There are no windows to open so it tends to get stuffy and damp despite the air conditioning system. The place is under construction and makes it feel like they aren’t too keen on keeping it nice as much of the old will be destroyed. Soap dispensers are rusted, bathrooms and beds are adequate. * The beds are the only item of high quality standard at the hotel in my humble opinion. *Complimentary coffee and tea bar a plus.

Terrible. They have knocked down the entire kitchen block of the hotel, but don't mention that, just say meals unavailable! Instead there is a much longer walk with bags around their demolition site! Staff nice but avoid.

Thought hotel was ok until we received parking fine. Beware, as complimentary parking apparently not complimentary, even though they advertise and tell you otherwise. Shame on them as never had issues at other premier inns

"Disappointment"

Although we were advised about the work going on, we didn't realise how bad it would be. The access for disabled people was very poor, having walk from the car park right round the demolition site. The stains on the carpet and cigarette stumps in the entrance (they remained for the three days we stayed) were very off putting. With no restaurant services available it would have been ideal for information out about the local eateries to be left in the rooms to help guests find alternative venues to eat. We have always enjoyed staying at the Premier Inn at various locations but on this occasion we were very disappointed.
