"The best staff"
What can I say? This was just a trip for a 6 year olds birthday trip to a safari park. The staff were so friendly nothing too much trouble for them. From the sweets in the room to the kind lady in the breakfast room giving my kids a cheecky wee chocolate. What happened was one of the kindest things you’d never get at the fanciest hotels. Once the lady behind the reception found out it was our sons birthday she subtle asked what my sons name was. I thought none the wiser but to my surprise after an amazing day at the safari park we came back and there was a birthday gift bag with a birthday card, not just any birthday card but a 6 year old card with a badge, toy and sweets. Never experienced anything in my life. Y son was gobsmasked as were we. Best experience ever.

"A lovely weekend getaway"
I like the cleanliness of the room; the bed is very comfortable. It felt as if I were in my bed. The staff are also friendly, and the check-in and check-out were seamless. I am 100% satsified.

"Exceptional staff make a wonderful stay."
An exceptional stay again! The staff truly go above and beyond for us. Our little girl turned 4 whilst we were up there and Martin and the team went and bought her a card and a gift making her day. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team. Their hospitality, warmth and care is always above and beyond. Thank you.

"Disappointing"
There was a smell of dampness all over. The carpets were very old. Walls and windows had mould. We booked a room for three people, but cups and spoons were only for two people. Lady on the reception was not very cheerful.

Lovely staff, comfy bed and tasty breakfast. The building is tired and needing some love, but the previous points made up for it.
