"I’d give it a miss"
Booked the last room in this hotel and it turned out to be an accessible room which we didn’t need! Not a problem they told me if anyone cancelled we could have another room but on arrival the guy at reception didn’t even look and check availability just got told straight that’s your room and basically get on with it! Now we’ve stayed in lots of premier inns in the past and never had a problem before but this place was dirty smelly and dark in the bedroom due to a shipping container been stored right outside the window. The building works was due to them converting the restaurant into extra bedrooms? At the time we booked it stated there was a restaurant but got told later we were getting a refund for not having the breakfast option now. I can’t see us staying in any more premier inns now because there are plenty more places where you can stay and eat, shame really because they used to be a great place to stay.

"Avoid"
Awful! My Room was in the annexe. It was an accessible room. We booked 2 rooms months in advance but on arrival we were told that these rooms were the only ones available, my son’s room was in a different building, ok. We were pre warned that the restaurant would be closed, ok. Shabby tired rooms with small TV’S and communal walkways that could do with a vacuum, ok. I can cope. What I couldn’t cope with was the terrible smell in the bathroom, it was horrendous. Drains, sewers, damp ? The odour invaded the whole room even with the bathroom door closed. The window was sealed so I was unable to open it. I reported to reception, they couldn’t do anything and gave me an air freshener spray ! I literally tried to sleep with a perfumed sprayed T shirt wrapped around my head, definitely not ok. Apparently, the room has since been inspected and no issues found. I sympathise with the next guests, I suggest they take a hazmat suit. I know that businesses are struggling but Premier Inns have made too many cutbacks. On a positive note the two staff that I did see were very friendly.

"Good value stay in good location"
In a good location for transport, to sightsee in Falkirk and to eat. It was disappointing to be unable to have a drink at around 8:30 on Friday evening, to be able get early check in on Friday when arrived on a morning flight to Edinburgh, or to be able to use a toilet or get a coffee whilst waiting to access room at 3pm. It was good to be able to leave bags at reception whilst sightseeing to wait for room. Curtains in room had stain on but everything else was fine

"Decent accommodation"
We stayed here because of the proximity to Edinburgh airport. Overall it's what you can expect from an Premier Inn. The staff was friendly but sadly, the room was badly cleaned. There was hair in the shower, peanuts under the desk chair and the menus were sticking together with what seemed to be some sort of sauce.
The bed was comfy an clean. A standard chain hotel but lacking in overall attention to details.
I would not recommend to have breakfast or dinner here. They seem to be understaffed and it is clearly effecting the quality of the food.
Half my egg was missing at breakfast och the bacon was only half way coocked.
For dinner my husband had the ceasar. All the dressing was on the bottom of the plate. The sallad still had the root on it. Overall it was nowhere near a ceasar.
If you have other options I would recommend somewhere else to stay

"Not worth it!"
Comfortable bed, but breakfast was the worst ever. Bar staff should never have gotten into hospitality with the poor attitude.
