Oban hotel

One of the best with excellent staff , lovely room and great breakfast. We left early to catch a ferry which was cancelled so we returned to the hotel for breakfast. They let us keep our bags in a room for a couple of hours until the next ferry departed. Excellent service.

Excellent stay. Good parking facilities. Good food in the restaurant, couldn't fault it. Staff friendly and helpful, especially the duty manager.

Excellent Hotel in Oban. Stayed 2 nights April 2026. Hotel within walking distance to town, train station, ferry Port. Hotel clean and tidy, all staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good choice of food at breakfast and evening meals. Would recommend.

I’ve probably stayed at most hotels in Oban over the years and I’ve learned they are vastly over priced for what you got. The Premier Inn is quite new to Oban and having stayed there for a few times now I’m struggling to understand why you’d want to stay elsewhere and pay an extortionate overnight rate. Oban needed this shake up. Ticks all the boxes: couldn’t be more central, comfy bed, ambient lighting on the room, good sized bathroom with a nice shower, good choice at the buffet breakfast, and a small bar. It’s no 1 choice in Oban for a reason. And the rooms at the back on the top floor have nice views of the bay.
