"Calm respite after hectic days out."
A comfortable and quiet place to stay, close to public transport and only a short walk from Temple Bar and all the other tourist traps. Staff were great, standard but filling breakfast options.
      "Excellent"
This seemed like a fairly new hotel and was situated close to Temple Bar and O’Connell Street, however it has no car parking. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist and were quickly in our family room. The room was clean and modern with everything we needed for our stay. We added on breakfast the next morning and it was excellent value. My only slight criticism was the hot food items could have been warmer, but we did eat near the end of service. Overall a great hotel for the price and I would certainly stay again.
      "Average"
Stayed here for one night. Requested a twin room but was given a double room. The front of house was fantastic and suggested we changed to an accessible room as had bigger bed. We went in this room and realised that the beds came apart so requested single bedding. We did not want to sit on the bed as we did not want to soil the linen so waited. Called a few times as only one chair in the room so only one could sit down. We then went out as was assured that it would be changed. Came back a few hours later and still not done and we were exhausted and just wanted to sit down. So rang again. The fantastic front of house came up and did it herself which i would like to suggest a acknowledgment for her helpfulness in the situation from Premier Inns . The room was large. Great window overlooking some streets. The carpet felt a bit grubby although everything else was clean. A lot of light in the room from flashing or red alarms in the room from the disabled call bells. Bed not great, lumpy and hard, pillows really hard and smelt if disinfectant, . Not as good other premier inns i have slept in . All the staff really polite and helpful. Good location hence the 3 stars combined with the really helpful front of house.,
"Overnight stay before heading to the Airport"
Booked a one night stay before heading to Dublin Airport, arrived early so couldn't check-in before 3pm, reception really busy but the receptionist was genuinely helpful and placed my suitcase in the full baggage. Location was good,15minute walk to either Temple Bar, Graffton St or O'Connell St plus it's sited one road back from the Liffey. Following a good wander around the City, I smoothly checked in, by another friendly member of staff. The room was standard to this hotel chain, basic but comfortable and functional, a good sleep was had, followed by a refreshing shower. The bar area, I found to be a little soulless not one of Premier Inns better one. All in all happy with my overnight stay, good staff and location.
      "Still consistently good"
It’s become a tradition of mine to visit and tour Ireland in the first week of June and, when I arrive off the ferry (barely a couple of miles away) this Premier Inn is always my first night stop. As this was my third annual visit my main observation is how consistent it is. The location is marvellous, the quality of the accommodation is good (it’s a purpose built hotel only about four years old) and, though staff inevitably come and go, they’ve always been super friendly and look like they enjoy working there and meeting people. The one negative is that the nearest overnight parking is over the river about a third of a mile’s walk and the multi storey on Commons Street is now run by Q-Park. The trick I found is to park there after 7pm and make sure you leave before 8am. That way you get Q-Park’s overnight deal of €20. Stray outside those times, however, and you could be charged up to €44. If you’ve got lots of luggage you can park on a meter right outside the hotel for up to three hours at €3.50 per hour. The machine takes contactless and chip/pin cards as well as cash.
