"Pleasant staff but a bad experience using booking.com to book a premier inn hotel"
After arriving late into the early hours of the morning, we were allocated an accessible room which we did not request.
The shower was very small in height, there was a string at one side of the bed and the room itself smelt musty as the window did not open.
I did confer with the reception staff the following morning on this issue, and they were very pleasant to speak to and listened to my concerns.
The advice i would give is do not book a premier inn hotel room through booking.com as you will more than likely be allocated an accessible room instead.

"Not safe do not stay here"
Our room (pre allocated) was allocated to another person. Told that when keys are re issued this cancels any previous ones. This is not true . As such anyone can be re issues with your room key and gain access. Complete lack of care. Staff lied about processes just the worst experience.
Said they would investigate heard nothing.
Unsafe and traumatic to experience this.

"You get what you pay for…."
The hotel itself was lovely — the rooms were well presented and the breakfast was good value for money. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience fell far below the standard expected of a central hotel and significantly let the stay down.
Throughout my visit, multiple staff members struggled to understand basic English, meaning I repeatedly had to explain simple requests and questions. While all staff were polite, there appeared to be a complete lack of essential hospitality training and basic customer service skills. Fundamental standards such as greeting guests, maintaining eye contact, acknowledging customers waiting to be served, listening properly, and carrying out simple check-backs seemed entirely absent.
One particularly frustrating experience was at the bar, where I stood waiting for around 15 minutes while a queue formed and a waitress simply watched without acknowledging anyone. There was no sense of urgency, organisation, or awareness of basic service expectations. When she eventually came over, she still could not understand the drink I was asking for and I had to point to it instead. The only member of staff who appeared to genuinely care about standards and customer experience was the blonde lady working in the bar and restaurant area.
Reception was equally disappointing. I asked a very straightforward question about whether the trams went into the city centre and the receptionist could not understand what I was asking. In a hotel aimed at tourists and visitors, the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with guests should be a minimum requirement, not an optional extra.
This hotel has clear potential, but it is being seriously held back by poor management of the front-of-house team. Staff urgently require proper training in communication, customer service, organisation, and the basic standards expected within hospitality. At present, the service simply does not reflect the quality of the hotel itself. If customer service matters to you, I would strongly recommend considering alternative accommodation until standards improve.

"Typical suburb modern franchise hotel"
Typical modern low star hotel with some highs and lows.
The positives:
Quite far away from city center but the Red line tram station is only one block away and takes you downtown quickly.
Not very expensive
Nice room for 1-2 night stay
The negatives:
We arrived early and asked if we could check in if there was room already available. There was room available, but instead of providing one as good service they asked for Euro 15 extra. No deal, and suddenly the hotel felt cheap.
No cheese to breakfast! A catastrophe in my world :-)
Be aware:
They have a restaurant, but not open during the day. Arriving late lunch time and the hotel has no food or sandwiches to offer.
