"A lovely hotel that is looked after by its staff"
Have stayed here now several times and like being here partly due to its location on the outskirts of the small city of Lisburn which is about nine miles from Belfast. All of the staff and I wish could name them all are excellent at their jobs from the cleaning staff to management do a fantastic role and ever so friendly. Staying here is very close to Sprucefield retail park only about half a mile up the road and the other part can be accessed by walking a short way up Bliars Road, turning left onto the wooded track which is used for cycling or walking.By following the right hand side track ,it takes you along the River Lagan which takes you into Lisburn or if you wish to Belfast through some densely wooded areas in lovely peace and tranquility. Some parts of the River Lagan was part of the Lagan canal unfortunately now dewatered and derelict but you can still find relics of a bygone transport system from the 1800's. Lisburn city centre has a very good bus and train offering a regular service for a reasonable amount. Going back to this hotel ,it is nice to see it is clean and not totally reliant on air conditioning as windows in the bedroom can be opened slightly. This is a must for us as we cannot stand air conditioned hotel rooms especially when they have not been cleaned or serviced regularly. The carpark is of a good size and just requires guests to input their registration details on the screen to stop being charged .
"Come and try for yourself"
I would like to say this hotel is the best out of all the Premier Inns we have stayed at. All staff are very friendly here nothing to much trouble at all. We love coming here, there's a carpark here and it's free just put your reg in and how many day's you are staying. You have local shop's near by. In Lisburn you have got a bus service and train station to get you out and about. There is a lovely walk across the road from Premier Inn called river Lagan that takes you in to the city.
"Fantastic stay"
Hotel nicely updated. All staff were very good. 2 members were exceptional. Vicky at breakfast and Steve at reception. Nothing too much trouble for either of them. They went above and beyond. We did think at breakfast, quite a lot of work for one member of staff. Ken, Jen, Gordon & Pam. Thank you again.
"Lovely staff on duty."
My daughter and I stayed overnight on the 26th June as I was working in the area. Having stayed in numerous Premier Inns I wanted to leave a review to particularly mention the gentleman on reception that afternoon and Frances who served us in the restaurant. Both these employees were so helpful and cheerful it made our evening so much better. The hotel is as you expect from P.I, clean, simple and comfortable. The food wasn't great and breaker left a lot to be desired compared to other P.I's in Belfast (hard scrambled egg and dry mushrooms) but overall it did the job! Just wanted to mention the two staff members though as I know how hard it is to work on those environments and stay cheerful but they were great. :)
"Good hotel. Isolated."
It’s a Premier Inn, and the building itself is well maintained. We requested a room with two beds and were given one with a full-sized bed and a small children’s bed. That wasn’t ideal, but the room was clean, and the bathroom was in good condition—no major issues there. The main drawback is the location. It’s very isolated, with nothing within walking distance, so you’re essentially limited to the hotel’s own restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was average at best, and the service—particularly in the restaurant—was quite poor. We even had to leave our table and go find a staff member just to place our order.
