Carrickfergus hotel

Efficient, well run with polite and organised staff. Good sea front location with good size car park. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a problem as the hot water was intemittant hot/cold/stop in our room. When we mentioned this it was "tested" the next day and the staff said it was OK. The problem hadn't been fixed at all. The 3rd day maintenence looked at it and found a valve was broken so we moved rooms. We were promised a refund between a sea view and the replacement and also a complimentary refund of 3 beakfasts. Acceptable, thank you, but no information about this refund has happened and nothing has been repaid as yet.

Arrived at 11pm after our air bnb fell through. The lady on reception was very welcoming and sorted extra pillows, a bottle of water (as the bar was closing) etc. The car park is big which is great. We didn’t use the restaurant, went to the diner across the road. Would stay again!

I have never had such a bad night in a hotel. The TV adverts are misleading. The room was so hot, I could not sleep. And it was not a hot summer's night either. It was actually cool outside. We had a fan in the room and the window was opened. They do not have air conditioning. We checked the radiator, just in case. It was not on. The coolest place in the hotel, was the corridor. Bed was very uncomfortable. This is my second bad experience in a Premier Inn Hotel. It used to mean something. It doesn't anymore! And at a cost of £180, I felt robbed. I would like to mention the staff. It was the only positive thing. They were very friendly and helpful. I feel for them, having to represent such a poor brand

The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly and the seat was unclean. The curtains were also half hanging off the rail and needed to be put back on the track.
