Belfast City Centre (Alfred Street) hotel

Stayed 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Good location. Our flight home today got cancelled due to the weather and unfortunately there were no rooms available for tonight but all the staff on shift on Sunday 25th October were lovely and helpful. Leanne went above and beyond to look after us whilst we tried to reschedule flights. Thank you

This is my preferred Premier Inn in Belfast and my 4 night stay came at a very attractive price, with the good value Meal Deal added on. The hard working team gel together and make sure customers receive a good experience. The location is particularly convenient if you arrive in the city from Belfast City Airport, as the 600 bus drops you off pretty much at the top of the street. My front facing room afforded me a view out across the city, but did suffer the odd bit of disturbance from late night revellers passing by. The decor style was the new Premier Inn theme and the bathroom too. The little lobby area on the ground floor, where you wait for the lifts, would benefit from some TLC and a decor refresh, just to lift the all important first impression of the hotel. I will be more than happy to stay here again.

We stayed for a few nights at this hotel and it's been fantastic. The room is clean, comfortable and came with a great view of the city and the cranes. The food was warm and tasty and plentiful, and we were only a five minute walk from the city centre. The Alfred Street location has a lovely, calm, quiet vibe, with kind staff and spacious restaurant. It was great value for money, and you feel like it's worth every penny. Massive shout out to Leanne who welcomed us so warmly, provided us with a few extras we needed and was all-round an absolute angel. She made such a great experience for us.

The hotel is run down and grungy. Carpets in the hall and room had multiple stains. The lounge chair also had stains that looked like bodily fluids. The shower had a huge mass of black mold. You have to book a time to go to the restaurant - even though it only had 4 people in it - and then3 out of 5 of the Mains were unavailable along with 2 of the starters. They take the payment for your stay up front so to try and the process to try to get a refund for the days after I checked out was convoluted and frustrating. I still have not received my refund for the 4 days.

A great Premier Inn, with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean. We did have a few issues with towels not being left for us but when we asked at reception, this was solved immediately. The hotel is in a great location, for us, it was basically a 15 minute walk (maximum) to everything we wanted to see and do in the city. The bar was well-stocked and the team were happy to help with drinks in the evening. It felt like a nice, safe location and there were no noise issues at all. I would raise just one thing about the room which is that the shower wasn't the best. The toiletry products had been fixed in metal brackets to the wall of the shower but in a really weird spot meaning that it was difficult not to constantly bang into them when showering and they were quite sharp! Otherwise though, I would definitely recommend this hotel, it was great.
