"Poor been here a few times. Seems to be going down hill staff aren't to freindly or helpful"
Couldn't get food as got told the chef had been sacked. Then got told in the morning we couldn't get breakfast as there was a shortage of food and we didn't pre book
"Good place to stay for exploring Belfast"
I stayed her for 2 nights (Friday/ Saturday). I usually stay in 2 of the other Premier Inn's in Belfast, but chose this one as it was cheaper (Even though I had a Premier Plus room). My room was up to the normal Premier Inn Plus standard, was clean and equipped with everything I needed, including a coffee machine. The bed was comfy and the walk in shower was nice to have. There were plenty of sockets and free WIFI, which was adequate for what I needed it for. The room was quiet, both from inside and outside noise. The room overlooked another building, so no view, but that didnt bother me. I went for Breakfast on the Saturday morning, but they must have had a bug rush before I got there, as the cooked selection was very thin on the ground and the chef was trying his best to keep the buffet stocked up. On the Sunday, they only served Breakfast to those who had pre-booked (the Hotel was very busy). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the Hotel is ideal, with the bars, shops etc only a short walk away. I would choose this hotel over the other Premier inn that I used.
"Very disappointing"
I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with a group of friends, we were attending a conference and making a holiday of it. On the second night we returned after a very busy day, eager to get in our rooms, but my key card didn’t work. Three times I returned to reception who just reprogrammed the card. Eventually they had to call maintenance, who wasn’t on site, to change the battery. The following morning another one of our group was locked out and we all had to wait while her lock was changed. Another morning I returned to my room after breakfast to find them the lock wasn’t working again. The manager had to come to reprogramme the lock. We were on a very tight schedule and I made it with only minutes to spare, it was very nerve-wracking. Our last morning, our original plan was to leave our luggage in our rooms until it was time to leave for the airport but we were all nervous that we might not get the doors open in time. As it was, one of the other locks was faulty and had to be opened by a staff member. I completed the feedback form on my return and after answering a totally irrevelant question didn’t receive any reply. I submitted another feedback form with the same results. They’re totally ignoring me.
"Great central hotel"
Very central. Clean, spacious room. Welcoming and friendly staff. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Also walking distance to train station, Titanic museum (somewhere around 15min walk, dependsof your fitness level🙃).
"Nice enough but early morning building construction"
The hotel is quite nice and in a really good position to the city centre, close for walking to all areas a tourist would like to visit. The check in is self help but there are staff there to help if needed. We stayed in Premier room which is nice and I would recommend upgrading if you can. However, these rooms in this particular hotel face directly onto a building site and the workmen woke us up at 6:55am. when we opened the blinds to see what was creating all the noise, we were feet away from workmen (we arrived in darkness the night before). When we complained to staff, we were told there was nothing they could do unless we downgrade room and as we were prepaid, we would not get any kind of refund. We then asked could we leave early and were told sure, but we would not get any refund. We were also woken during the night by some kind of alarm (2 nights) and we know other people heard it as we heard others complain at reception. Needless to say, the Premier In good night sleep guarantee are words and not actions. I must say that I enjoyed the breakfast there though. So the Room we stayed in was 431, check it out for workers before you accept it1
