Lubeck City Centre hotel

Two-minute walk from the bus/train station, and a 10-minute walk to the city centre. Immaculate hotel with perfect service and an excellent breakfast. Could not ask for more.

We booked this hotel just for 1 night, and due to close location to the harbor, and because it has a parking place. When we arrived the lady at the reception told us that there are no parking spots available and if we want to park somewhere we can do that a couple of hundred meeters away in a public space and we needed to pay extra 7 euro per day. Explaining that this is not normal and asking to speak with the manager, the lady push the panic button, inform me that now i am being recorded and if do not leave the desk and stop asking questions she will call the Police. For me this atitude was incredbile and mindblowing, after 35 hours of traveling to have this greeting, incredible!!!! So i will not come here ever. If you book this hotel for the parking do not do it!!!! Is like a scam!!

Rooms are really nice and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Checkin was great. But the breakfast… after 35 years of travel, this was probably the worst experience I have ever had. Its clean and had a decent variety of dishes. But there was a dish supposed to be scrambled eggs and it was a big block of wobbly burnt yello? When asking the staff in the buffet, I was rudely told its supposed to be like that. So skip the expensive breakfast and go out nearby where you get so much better breakfast.

Booked thru booking .com best way as cheaper than hotel rates Wrote that I would arrive early , which upon arrival they did not recieve :( During check in ….. was asked for the payment plus 20 euros extra !!!! This was for early check in , …. Please note rooms were available and ready !!! Went to the room , new hotel so all was good , nothing out of the ordinary , clean comfortable Went for buffet breakfast charged 17-90 euros for each breakfasts each day …. Good breakfast fine selection My next shock was next day , my room was Not serviced as any standard or quality hotel does . I approached receptionist and was informed that you must ask to get the room service as they don’t do it as a standard hotel item . The funds Go to charity . This is standard as the receptionist was trying to explain but I am a hotel owner and this was never explained either on check in or when booking It’s the first time I have encountered these 2 issues , I have travelled the world and been in the hotel business 50 years I recommend that booking.com and the premiere inn make their Clint’s more Aware of these issues

Nice hotel, located a few steps away from the Lubeck main bus and train station. The hotel name is not very visible from a distance, so follow the google maps to find it easy. In the late evenings they close the main auto door locked, and you may need to hit the buzzer or use a key to get in. Rooms and new, fresh, sound proof - awaiting you to sleep well. Recommend…!
