"Decent location. Average rooms even with Premier Plus."
Good location. Decent breakfast. Grumpy staff.
Booked a double room but was initially allocated a twin. Reception didnt seem happy that I wanted my booked double room.
Room was OK, but expected more having booked Premier Plus. Very limited TV channels which I had to change manually as the remote batteries appeared to be on their last legs.

"Handy hotel for trains, trams and walking to town. Quiet good value room"
Leipzig was absolutely alive with football fans and the hotel previously stayed at was booked out. This turned out to be a bonus as we ended up at this Premier Inn situated within a few hundred yards of the main train station. Upgraded to a privilege room on a higher floor we heard no noise whatsoever from the trams running alongside the hotel or noise from any other guests. One of the two lifts wasn't working but this did not cause any issues or waits for us. Breakfast was good value with plenty of choice. The room was a good size and kept the morning light out and bedding and bed very comfortable. Just a really handy hotel to walk to the town, the zoo and the Red Bull arena maybe 25 mins walk away or plenty of tram options. Staff were really helpful especially the bar man who had a mad rush around midnight after the game. Drinks price in the bar really good for a hotel.

"If you're not from Germany, choose another hotel. The reception staff practice silent discrimination"
Good location. Extremely dedicated breakfast staff – polite, communicative, efficient, and helpful. I don't recommend this hotel for Eastern European guests. You'll be treated much worse than German guests. We asked for a second duvet and were denied it, even though there was information about it in the room. We weren't asked why, and the receptionist said she wouldn't speak to us. Generally, receptionists practice silent discrimination. They treat non-German guests better. Our friends in the same room requested an extra duvet and received it without a problem. The hotel also didn't respond to requests from Booking.com, through which we booked. They tried to sell us breakfast, even though it was included in the price. Then, the next day, they refused to let us in. I asked the receptionist to write down her name so I could file a complaint, and she wrote down the hotel manager's name. This was the first time I encountered silent discrimination in German hotels. Even though we checked in just after 3 p.m., we were given a room near the elevator, very noisy, and with faulty heating. Sleeping in a fleece jacket for 120 euros and catching a cold is my lasting memory of this hotel. Check the air conditioning, and if you're not from Germany, choose a different hotel.

"Great value and location for the Leipzig city center and train station"
This was our one paid stay out of 13 nights in the Netherlands and Germany. We booked the rest of our trip with points. While not fancy, the value was excellent and the location great for the Leipzig Bach festival. I would definitely stay here again.
This was very convenient for an early train departure. The train station had great food options.

"A nice surprise, great location, large rooms"
What a surprise this hotel proved to be. Ideal location - 5 minutes walk from the station and 5 into the city centre.
The rooms are larger than average and they feel new and pristine. The bathroom, too, is a good size so you actually have a bench to place cosmetics! (which is an ace bonus). Beds are comfortable and we had breakfast on one day, which is very nicely laid out with plenty of choice.
Would definitely stay again (but a couple of quick thoughts: there is nowhere to put your clothes - drawers? - so ours remained in our suitcases; and every 5 minutes or so, what I presume to be the fire system (??) flashes a bright light, which can be a bit annoying during the night when the room is dark and you happen to be awake). Overall excellent
