Leipzig City Centre hotel

Chose this Premier Inn as I was attending Leipzig for the Conference League Final. From the moment we arrived to when we left the staff were friendly and helpful despite it being so busy with a large influx of Crystal Palace fans. Even the lady at check in who spoke no English helped us. Also the guys on the late shift tried to help me charge my son's phone after he forgot his charger. The staff here are a credit to Premier Inn. The hotel was clean and had every amenity you needed. Plus it was across the road from the train station and a few minutes walk to the main area of the city. Cannot comment on the breakfast as did not eat there. Across the road in the train station is a massive shopping centre with loads of places to eat.

In terms of accommodation this is pretty much what you expect from Premier Inn wherever you go. My only grumble would be about the lack of storage space for clothes: a few hangers, a single shelf which is too high for many, and a couple of stylised coat hooks mean you end up living out of your suitcase. On the positive side, the hotel is directly across from Leipzig station (which is huge, and has a massive shopping centre with plently of food options - so no need to pay Premier Inn prices for breakfast!). Also close the the main tram stops and on the corner of the 'tourist' centre of Leipzig.

From the station, it’s an easy 10-minute walk: Exit the station and head toward the Hahnekamm district. Follow the clearly marked pedestrian pathways lined with shops and cafes. The hotel is situated in the heart of Hahnekamm, making it easy to find. Alternatively, if you have heavy luggage, you can take Tram Line 4 or 7 and alight at the "Augustusplatz" stop, which is just a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Room and Amenities The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-equipped with comfortable beds, a smart TV, and a spotless en-suite bathroom. The soundproofing ensures a peaceful night’s sleep, even with the lively surroundings. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable throughout my stay. Dining Options The hotel’s on-site restaurant serves a hearty breakfast buffet with a variety of options to suit all tastes. For lunch or dinner, you can explore the numerous eateries in the Hahnekamm district offering everything from traditional German cuisine to international dishes. Nearby Attractions Staying at Premier Inn Leipzig City means you are within walking distance of many key attractions: The Leipzig Opera House and St. Nicholas Church are approximately 15 minutes away on foot. For shopping enthusiasts, the Promenaden Hauptbahnhof is right next door. Public transport options make it easy to visit other parts of Leipzig, including the historic Spinnerei art district. Practical Tips Check-in and check-out are seamless with friendly and multilingual staff. There’s a luggage storage facility if you arrive early or have a late departure. Fab place to stay, close to everything in the city. Special thanks to Eleila the night receptionist for being so nice and helpful. The room is quite spacious and the shower is actually not only spacious too but the whole place is sparkling clean.

This is one of the nicest hotels in Leipzig. Friendly staff and they have nice rooms. we really enjoyed our stay. The location is also spot on with easy access to transport. The main station is just a walk away. Shops, restaurant etc. great one!
