"If you arrive late, you are out of luck even for a fully-paid room"
The hotel itself was fine but the experience at check-in was anything but welcoming. My son paid for two nights in advance. His flight from the US was cancelled so he called to let them know he would be arriving a day late but would still need the second night (knowing he was out the money for first night and fully accepting of that). The reservationist said that was fine and made a note to in the system that they needed to keep his room for him. However, when he arrived, the woman at the front desk said he could not have his room even though it was already paid for because “policy says that if you miss the first night you are out both nights, even if there is a room available.” He was exhausted and tired from the long delayed travel and all she could do was lecture him. He finally begged her to check for an available room and she had one and gave it to him with another lecture about “how lucky he was” that she made an exception for him. A customer who has paid for a room and gone to the extra effort to make sure they knew he was coming should not be treated this way.

"BRILLIANT - Simple as that, it might be a Premier Inn, but it is better than some so called 4 star places we have stayed"
Having stayed in a lot, and I do mean a lot of Premier Inn hotels in the UK, we were surprised to find them in Germany, and as we were staying in Dresden for a few days, we knew we wanted to have a hotel that had decent parking, easy access to the town, and transport links.
THIS PLACE HAS THE LOT - we were pleased that when we did our due diligence on this place that the hotel had a car park underneath, which was, to be honest, a bit of a pain, they had a section of car park within the underground parking, the directions are very few and far between, and then when you do locate it, there is not that many spaces for P.I. Guests, thankfully for us, there was a disabled space free and we parked there for our duration.
The lift takes you either directly to your floor or reception, which is handy, as a few hotels will only take you to the reception where you need to change to another lift, and thats a pain when you have loads of luggage to cart about.
We parked out the front of the hotel on our arrival, and had no idea where to park, but the staff on the reception desk were friendly, and happy to help, we found this throughout our stay, they were always more than happy to help. Our room was just like a normal UK Premier Inn, so nothing unusual for us there, the room was very clean and tidy, large bed with all the usual amenities, decent shower lovely soft towels, unlike some places where they are so rough they take your skin off, LOL.
We will definitely stay here again, as it is a perfect place to stay, you are literally 30 seconds from the tram/bus station, which is a large one and has trams and busses, literally every minute, cross the main road and you are within a main shopping area in just about two minutes, and from behind the hotel you are not far from the old town and the vast array of shops there.
We did not on this occasion have any food in the hotel with the exception of breakfast, which was lovely, again, plenty of everything from a decent hot selection, to the usual continental selection, cereals, juices, fresh fruit and coffee machine, there was just plenty of everything, in clean and tidy surroundings and friendly staff there as well.
We will most definitely stay here again, as there is just so much to see and do in the region, and with great transport links, why would we be so silly as not to stay here in the future.

"Always relied on"
Just beautiful and such a nice experience, as usual! The staff are so helpful here making the whole stay worthwhile. Excellent facilities with a well sized room and a huge comfortable bed provided, breakfast is excellent and the location is perfect, we would most certainly come back here again because we loved it.lol

"OK for 1 night"
The hotel is ok but there are shortcomings. Firstly, we booked a tripple occupancy but the sofa bed did not have a mattress. There was just a sheet. All sofa beds we have had previously had a mattress so this bed was very uncomfortable. The room also is not sound proof. While the area is very quiet, earlier in the morning you hear workers and deliveries on the street and this wakes you up. The main bed is also not very comfortable and the base seems to be saggy. We stayed for 1 night only but i wouldn't recommend this for longer stays.
On the positive, the bathroom and toilet space is decent and room is clean and modern. The location is amazing. Walkable to all sights around the old town and tram stop is just across the road.
