"Nice and convenient"
This hotel had great value for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were just what you needed, the pillow was the best I ever slept on and their parent company sells them and I just ordered one. Basic and no frills, which is fine because why spend a lot of money for a room when the action is outside. Breakfast was nice and presented well, nice lounge area for late night or afternoon beers and cocktails. Several locations all close to the city center and at ours it was an easy walk to old town square. Definitely coming back!

"High tariff for an average experience"
OK hotel with comfortable rooms. Bathroom is spacious and very nicely equipped. Location is close by the shopping district and 7-10 minutes on foot from the Altstadt.
Reception is at the top floor (5th) of the building. The hotel is served by two elevators which are small and not very fast. Plus, one elevator went out of service in the course of our stay (1 night). More than once we had to wait between 5 and 10 minutes to use the elevator.
When we entered the room it was being ventilated and felt cold. 15-20 minutes afterwards a member of the staff entered without knocking (I guess they were not informed of the check-in).
Normally I would overlook such a small inconveniences and incidents, but having paid 190 EUR for one night I guess I have some right to complain.
The TV system is very essential with no streaming. The free wi-fi is nerfed and one has to buy the "Ultimate" plan for a better service (honestly ridicolous in 2025). On the free wi-fi I did not manage to watch Apple TV on my laptop, maybe an issue on my PC, but I was left suspecting that the hotel firewall was set to block streaming services.

"A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Dresden"
Located at the vibrant Prager Straße, Premier Inn Dresden City is an ideal choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and accessibility. I had the pleasure of staying here, and the experience was truly memorable.

The hotel is conveniently located near Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Dresden Central Station). From the station, it’s an easy 10-minute walk:
Exit the station and head toward Prager Straße.

The hotel is situated midway along Prager Straße, clearly marked and easy to spot.
Alternatively, if you have heavy luggage, you can take Tram Line 3 or 8 and alight at the "Walpurgisstraße" stop, which is just a few steps away from the hotel entrance.
Room and Amenities
The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-equipped with comfortable beds, a smart TV, and a spotless en-suite bathroom. The soundproofing ensures a peaceful night’s sleep, even with the bustling street below. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable throughout my stay.

The hotel’s on-site restaurant serves a hearty breakfast buffet with a variety of options to suit all tastes. For lunch or dinner, you can explore the numerous eateries on Prager Straße offering everything from traditional German cuisine to international dishes.

"A good hotel to visit the stunning city of Dresden "
A good basic hotel directly on a busy shopping street and very close to the old town. It has all the amenities for a 3 star hotel, and everything is modern and new, no spots, dirt or mould. The room was good sized, very nice, clean, quiet and with tea and coffee facilities. No minibar or safe though. Breakfast was served in a nice room and there was a nice selection of products, nothing special, but enough for a good start of the day. The staff is very nice and helpful. Not cheap but a fair price, as Dresden is a very beautiful but expensive city.

"Our first away together in 18 years"
An absolute bugger to find, but once we had it was as you'd expect; clean and friendly. Bit of an odd configuration, whereby the reception is on the top floor and the rooms beneath it..just a bit disorientating to be honest and an observation not a criticism.
