Saarbrucken City Congresshalle hotel

Do not stay at this hotel! We stayed in July 2026 and there was an incident that occurred. My son was taking a shower and the shower door fell from the ceiling and shattered all over the place. He was cut in multiple places and bleeding. The hotel took this very lightly. The manager was called at night, but did not show up till the morning after I had to ask again for him to come. We reschedule to go to Paris the next morning and had to delay our plans and wait for him. I have been trying to get my money back for the rooms and they are not being cooperative. My child is now afraid to shower and this has left a big impact and ruined our vacation!

As you would expect from a Premier Inn. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast expensive for what was on offer. Limited options if you have allergies . Not worth 18 euros!

My trip was from 25.08.2025 till 05.9.2025, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all who were during that time on Duty. It was very close to everywhere in Saarbrücken. However, because of Constructions around it was always difficult to drive there, which of course has nothing to do with the Hotel. I'm bringing up because despite the Constructions around, the Rooms were very quiet, and you didn't here a single sound. Inside the Hotel everything was available, Breakfast didn't make me miss my Breakfast at home, the Variety and taste 5 out of 5 stars. A nice, quite huge lobby for having nice conversations in comfortable seats/couches was 5 out of 5. The only thing I could complain about is if you go and sit outside the Hotel the WLAN was not available even if you are sitting in front of the Windows, there I would give 3 out of 5 but inside the WLAN was accessible anywhere.

Don't confuse this Premier Inn with the one down the road, as we did. Both business hotels near the city centre, but fine for an off-the-beaten-track stopover. Parking in an underground carpark, 15 euros a night. Never been to Saarbrücken before, probably never go again, but it was interesting to see.

We were on a trip from the low countries to the south of Germany so needed a place en route for an overnight and this fitted the bill. The hotel is very new, the family room very spacious, beds really comfy, the shower really really good (has the rainfall head on the wall but also a hand held unit should you want that). The parking garage is relatively spacious and relatively easy to get in and out of the car/ space, the cost is 15Euro per night, so not the cheapest but its a secure underground facility so far cheaper than having something happen to your car on the street! It might have been a perfect stay only for the bathroom not being cleaned properly (the last guest had really black hair, we can presume) and there was a glitch in the air conditioning which works REALLY well, but in our case too well as there was a build up of condensation- its a known problem which they had thought was already fixed so I won't hold that too much against them. Location is just 5 minutes further down the street from the other Premier inn, its at the edge of the city centre in a somewhat industrial / commercial area with the congress centre so the action is a little away but not too far at the same time. We didn't get breakfast or use the bar so cant comment on that. They do serve pizza (and burgers??) until late so that might be of use to someone not wanting to head into the city upon arrival. All in all, I can imagine we will visit again on our longer road trips and hope that the next time the bathroom doesnt experience the same issues.
