Essen City Centre hotel

My stay at the Premier Inn Essen City Centre was average overall. Unfortunately, the TV in the room was not working, and the air conditioning was also out of order, which affected the comfort of my stay. We also found an insect in the room, which was disappointing. The breakfast selection was quite basic and offered limited variety. Additionally, we were unable to use an iron during our three-day stay, as the available irons were consistently in use by other guests. It may be worth considering a more effective system for managing or increasing the availability of irons to better meet guests' needs. While the staff were pleasant, addressing these issues would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

Very nice hotel, richt in the city centre. Nice room, bathroom. Good service and friendy staff. I would book it again. Till next time.

We visit our family regularly in Essen and we always stay at the Premier Inn city Centre . As I have recently had knee surgery, they always try and reserve a suitable room for me. Silke replied to my email & were very pleased upon arrival to meet Roberto once again and this time a new colleague Joven . They were both extremely helpful and we were able to check in to our usual room quickly and efficiently. We met with Yasho the next morning at breakfast and he was very helpful to us during our stay as usual The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is also quite good with a variety of different cereals, rolls bread, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, salad, cheese, fruit, and yoghurt. Tea, coffee juices also are plentiful We are always happy to recommend the Premier Inn as they never let us down. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly, and we were particularly impressed with Barry this time. The location is also very convenient as there is public transport and lots of shops quite close by. Nice atmosphere, good lighting, amazingly helpful staff. Great for the city centre and the station and the Messe. Clean and well equipped rooms.

Clean and modern hotel inside however the outside let it down with overflowing rubbish bins and this meant litter was all over the floor. The area itself didn’t feel particularly safe so we didn’t wander off any further than to a restaurant 5 mins walk away. The room was clean and welcoming. Initially thought bed was too soft but turned out to a very comfortable sleep despite the bed creaking at every movement. Could also hear people in other rooms but after a ridiculous amount of travelling sleep was calling! The reception staff were not the friendliest and was told there was no parking available and given a map to go and park in multi storey away from the hotel. Breakfast was very limited - I thought I was just being fussy but my partner who eats anything also said there wasn’t a great selection but the fruit tea was great.
