Darmstadt City Centre hotel

Ok low budget hotel, with what you can expect from a low budget hotel. Nice clean room but with nothing extra. Very special shampoo in the shower!😅 with some kind of «silicon» that was nearly impossible remove from hair and body!😅 bring your own shampoos and body wash! Heard my neighbor snore through the wall, but I guess he (she?) was an extreme snorer!😆

Hotel is pretty new in a new area behind the train station so it’s quite a trip to the city center and also surprisingly to the train station. But there’s a tram station a few minutes from the hotel. The room was new and nice, with good AC, good bed and was mostly quiet. I assume it can be louder in the morning on weekdays from outside and also slamming doors and running people inside the hotel were easy to hear. The room could have been cleaner (stains on walls, furniture and such). Compared to other hotels this one seemed much more affordable.

For just 60 quid a night (excl 15 for parking facilities), this place was a bargain for a full family. The Prem Inn is, like in the UK, a very reasonable basic hotel with a decent room and great beds. The location in this Prem is close to the tram, which brings you to city centre in around 5min (its a 30min walk).

This is a new hotel, in very good condition. We had booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children and the receptionist allocated us Room 302 which was small and had only a double bed and a sofa which could be converted into a single bed for one child. We returned to reception to raise the problem and were told that we should make up the bed ourselves! We've never experienced such a poor attitude in a Premier Inn before that and this ignored the fact that there wasn't a fourth bed for our other child. They agreed to move us to another room suitable for 4 if we hadn't "used anything in the room" as then they could rent it out again, as if it would be our fault if we had. Despite the Premier Inn website promoting vegan food at breakfast, we found that the only hot food for vegetarians was beans and egg, and for vegans only beans! On asking about vegan options the member of staff advised that no hot vegan breakfast was available at this location! They do provide vegan cereal and oat milk but overall they don't seem to have much interest in providing vegetarian/vegan options and we wouldn't book breakfast here again for this reason. We also received no room service, the beds weren't made for us during our stay, the tea and coffee wasn't topped up, the bin wasn't emptied and towels weren't changed. Overall, although the hotel is attractive and in good condition we were disappointed that the service here fell well short of the level that you'd normally receive in a UK Premier Inn.

Ich erlitt nach 1-2 Std wohl aufgrund der schlechten Hygiene (dreckiger teppich, Matratze und Decke riechen ungewaschen einen Hautausschlag meiner gesamten rechten Körperhälfte, die das Bett berührte. Auf dem Weg zur Rezeption Puls: 220 BPM. Blutdruck im von mir gerufen rettungswagen nicht messbar, Diagbnose allergischer Schock. An der Rezeption waren vier herren, die sich über mich lustig machten und mir keinen Kontakt zum Management herstellten und auch keinen rettungswagen riefen. Hätte ich als Ärztin nicht zufällig Kortison dabei gehabt und sofort 100 mg Prednisolon geschluckt, wär ich vor diesen vier Männern, die plötzlich keine Sprache mehr kannten, gestorben. Ich versuchte am Folgetag irgendeinen Kontakt zu irgendeineim Mitarbeiter in deutshcland zu erhalten, undzwar über 6 Std. Es ist NICHT möglich. Ich werde eine Anzeige machen wegen unterlassener Hilfeleistung. Ich erhielt natuerlich auch von diesen Typen keine Erstattung. Es war absolut schockierend, diese Menschen dürfen und können dort nicht arbeiten. Es gibt nur einen Chat mit England, dort erfährt man, dass deutschland nicht in die Zustaendigkeit fällt. Auch an den Folgetagen bildetete sich der Hautausschlag niocht zurück, es zeigten sich schließlich Bisse, möglicherweise von Bettwanzen.
