Nuremberg City Opernhaus hotel

The hotel provided an outstanding experience, characterized by exceptional staff and breathtaking views from the accommodations. Its proximity to various attractions, including the train station and the historic Old Town, made it an ideal location. I found it difficult to imagine a more convenient setting. The culinary offerings were impressive, with a greater variety than I had encountered in previous hotels. The downstairs seating area exuded a pleasant ambiance, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the rooms was remarkable, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The room was nice. I marked it down because the air conditioner was locked and not adjustable. No tissues in the room. No charging stations.

Premier Inn Opernhaus is a very nice hotel with a central location in Nuernberg. I want to give a special thank to the friendly staff throughout the hotel for effiecent handling with all kinds of matters. Nice breakfast and a clean and spacious room. Premier Inn is therefore highly recommended!

Beware. This hotel will take extra money from your bank. They stole an amount from my account without permission. They do not help you at all. Avoid these criminals.

We have stayed in many premier inn hotels in the UK but this was our first experience in Germany and i have to say it was not a good one , so we booked and payed for in advance 2 Premier Plus rooms for 4 nights all the way back in June 2025 . On arrival we checked in and made our way upto the 6th floor only to find we didn't actually have a Plus room and so went back to reception to correct the mistake made by the check in staff only to be told that there were no Plus rooms available , we were closly followed by our travelling companions who had the same issue , after spending some time trying to get a reason as to why our rooms were not available having booked so far in advance we asked for a Manager to come and explain the situation but apparently there was no Manager on shift !! we then asked for a Manager to be available the following morning to move us to our paid for more expensive rooms and to be fair we were although we could have done without the hassle of having to return to the hotel after lunch to re-check in again So that issue sorted we thought i would be nice to return to the hotel in the early evening and have a drink at the bar after refreshing ourselves and heading off back out for dinner only to find the bar was not tended by anyone and had to ask the check in staff to come and serve after they had finished checking other people in , and my god that was not very good either it literally took 15 minutes to serve us 4 drinks ! and this was pretty much the case every day ( i guess they didn't want to pay a bartender ) So it continues , the hotel has a policy of not making up your room unless asked too, which is ok with us but we thought they would at least replenish the water , tea and coffe but NO , they didn't even have any we could help ourselves to as we do in the UK we had to queue at reception and wait to be served again and then told they would deliver to our rooms shortly , only 15 minutes later to a knock at the door saying they had not received there delivery of water that day and we would have to go down to the bar to fill our water bottles. I won't even go into detail regarding the chaos at breakfast as i'm sure anyone reading this will think i have nothing better to do than complain :-) So if you are thinking of staying here you may wish to think again GOOD LUCK if you do
