"Terrible Communication and Service"
I had a disappointing experience with this hotel after my stay.
After checking out, I was informed by email from Martin Kreisel that my lost power bank had been found and was being safely held for me. I replied to let the hotel know I would return to collect it, and I made a trip back specifically because of that confirmation.
When I arrived, I was told that the power bank could no longer be found. Despite the hotel previously confirming they had it in their possession, no one could explain what happened. Since then, I have sent follow-up emails requesting an update and a resolution, but I have not received any response.
Mistakes can happen, but what has been most disappointing is the lack of communication and accountability afterward. If a hotel confirms they have a guest’s belongings, those items should be kept secure until they are collected. At the very least, I expected timely communication and an effort to resolve the situation.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the hotel’s handling of lost property or its customer service after checkout.

"THE FOOD FOR THE DINNER IS EXPIRED AND HORRIBLE. THE WAITER PAUL IS THE RUDEST EVER!!!!"
The food for the dinner was horrible. NEVER AGAIN!!! The pizza was frozen and expired. It was like a stone and instead of prosciutto there was some pieces of expired ham and 2-3 small pieces of mushrooms. The soup was cold, but not so bad.
When I referred it in a polite way to the waiter Paul (multi-tasker: waiter, receptionist, chef and barista) he answered sarcastically and in a rude way that it’s always like that, it’s normal for a cheap and frozen food.
For a small ‘pizza’, barely enough for one person and of poor quality, €12.99 is too much; even for free it’s too much. They’re charging you for rubbish and instead pf apologizing they are just answering in a very rude and sarcastic way.....

"Great but comes with a warning:"
The warning: The windows/doors open too wide and do not have a safety barrier. A child or pet can fall to their death.
That aside~ the shower 🚿❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The staff 👍👍
The location:
I guess it depends what you need, but it was great for us. 8 Euro for Uber from the train station and a short Uber ride to the Christmas markets.
Overall I would recommend but they really need to fix the safety issue in the room.

"great location - but find the outside lift to save the steps to reception!"
Last year I stayed at the Premier Inn that's just 5 mins walk away from this premier inn..so I was interested if either was better.
This hotel is located adjacent to the Budapeststrasse metro station - and a very quick hop from HBF. However, you can also walk from HBF in around 15 minutes.
Closeby is the large shopping mall with many shops, restaurants etc. It's a super location.
Despite being adjacent to the metro station, there is no hotel entrance on this level - which was a big surprise. I ended up lugging my luggage down a long set of steps to a road level, where the hotel entrance was. BUT, with a little walk, I found an external lift (next to the Hampton Hotel entrance which is side by side to the Premier Inn entrance) which took you to right next to the metro platform. Bingo. problem solved. (it would be great if the hotel advertised this lift on the website).
The reception area is very corporate Premier Inn - fresh, clean, unfussy. There was only one receptionist on duty at the time of my arrival. However, a second member of staff came to help on realising a queue was forming.
I was allocated a room on the 8th floor. There are two lifts which despite being busy at major times, always operated well.
My room was a good size with a nice double bed, tv, tea/cofee making facilities and hanging space. The shower room - though small, was perfectly adequate. It was also spotlessly clean! The one small disappointment was that the air conditioning was very lacking. Despite trying every combo, the room was still on the very warm side. It was however, a wonderful hot day in Stuttgart and hotel air con can struggle.
I decided to eat dinner in the hotel, and went to the bar / breakfast room area. The barman was really friendly and fun. The choices though from the menu, were lacking. It was basically soups or pizzas. There are so many bars, restaurants etc within ten minutes walk, the hotel is not going to offer a huge choice, but no burger or Lasagna? oh well. On a positive note, I had the goulash soup, which was very tasty. I just could have done with twice as much for the price charged.
Breakfast the following morning had the usual Premier Inn selection - good choice of cold offerings etc. I always book to have the Premier Inn breakfast, whether im in Stuttgart or Southampton. why? because its consistently good and means I don't have to go looking for somewhere else. is it the best hotel breakfast? no..but for this grade of hotel, its better than some of its rivals.
so - which hotel of the two at this location? your choice - they both as good as each other!

"Location is good"
Only advantage here is location. Staff were only friendly if I interacted in German. Even the underground parking was full for 2 of 4 nights so I had to endure parking far and walking back and forth. Room was dated especially the sofa was very old and not comfi but room was clean.
