      "Decent hotel, overpriced breakfast"
      The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean, although air conditioning does not stay on which is a bit of an issue on a hot night. Location moderate, not much in the immediate vicinity and currently a big building project going on around the hotel. Biggest gripe was breakfast. 17 euros for a modest fare is WAY too expensive, with the result hardly anyone was taking it up. At 12 euros it would be a fair deal and I certainly would have gone for it each day. Train station 10 mins away. Hotel bar quite nice.
      "Nice room, poor breakfast"
      The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice too. But Wifi speed was very poor, most of the time had no signal. Breakfast was a big disappointment. For 13.50 Euro per person, the breakfast was very simple, with very limited options, no pastries, no fresh juice. Microwave cooked scrambled egg was way overcooked and tasted awful. Several other Premier Inns we stayed during the same trip (in other locations) had much better breakfast, and charged less. Surrounding area was under constructions, so quite messy. It took some maneuvers to get to the hotel entrance.
      "Great hotel"
      We had a great stay at the Premier Inn Heidelberg back in the fall. It is a very short walk (5 to 10 mins) from the main train station and is just a short tram ride to the old town. The rooms were clean and service was great. There was a nice buzz in the lobby bar area but didn't get a chance to have a drink there. There's also a few restaurants right beside the hotel that looked delicious but we ended up having most of our meals in the old town. Will definitely to this hotel return again!
      "Fantastic!"
      Superb stay at this hotel in Heidelberg! Rooms are spacious and clean and staff are very friendly. On the map, the hotel does appear to be a bit further from the old town of Heidelberg but you can easily take tram #22 to the start of the old town. Please note that if you are in the middle of the old town, you do have to walk to the starting edge of it where all of the buses/trams meet (Bismarckplatz) to take transit back to your hotel. From the train station, you can also exist the train station from the back and walk along Czernyring straight to the hotel instead of going around the front of the train station like Google maps suggests. There is also a fabulous smelling Thai restaurant right beside the hotel that we wanted to try but did not get a chance to!
      "Small friendly hotel nr the station"
      New hotel, about 10 mins from the station, easy check-in and very friendly, asked if we would prefer ground floor or higher. The rooms are ok, for some reason a fixed unit at the bottom of the bed which makes it difficult to walk around. Breakfast was good . About 20 mins walk from the centre of town .
