"Hiking Pitstop Rest"
Went hiking with a friend for three days and decided to take a rest in this hotel.
Well organized. Good breakfast. Service was good, which is why we gave it 4 stars — we would have given 5 if there had been just a bit more warmth and friendliness.
Lovely relaxing atmosphere in the lobby. Nice soft jazz lo-fi music. The interior of the building is sleek and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was truly the highlight of the hotel room — a spacious, warm shower with plenty of room.
The small details really make this hotel special: the quality of the kettle, the availability of good tea and coffee, the neatly presented breakfast, and even the precisely folded toilet paper. This hotel is well maintained and not run-down.
The location is fine. The beds are comfortable. The décor is beautiful and stylish, with nice art and paintings. No dirt, mold, or stains anywhere.
For a full 5-star experience, I would recommend installing better soap.
Other than that, very satisfied.

"Bad hotel , in a bad location , there is no parking , I spent every day about one hour to find a parking plot near ."
We stayed in this hotel as a family for a vacation, i don’t recommend it, the room is too small , there is no refrigerator or closet, the room service is very bad , asked to change the towels bit the didn’t change them , there was no cleaning service .
The location of the hotel is very bad , at the street there is a construction and it was very noisy.
There is no parking plot near the hotel , i got a ticket for the bad parking chance ,i tried to ask in the reception where should i park , they didn’t help, even st the reception there was a german guy that was unfriendly.
So we as a family we had just bad vacation, i do not recommend this hotel , we will not go back there any more

"Good location, don't recommend in warmer months"
I really wanted to like this hotel. We arrived an hour before check-in because it was pouring, and they were kind enough to let us check in early as our room was ready. The room looked exactly as pictured - small but comfortable for our 3 nights in Heidelberg. The hotel was located near public transit which made getting to Altstadt very easy. The staff were all polite and patient with my broken German.
Despite this, I can't give the hotel more than 2 stars. First, there's construction closing the main road which we weren't aware of before we arrived. It wasn't a significant inconvenience but I would've liked to know beforehand. Second, there were repairs going on in the hotel that made our electricity go out one morning of our stay. We weren't made aware of this either, except for a sign posted outside of the elevator (which doesn't help when you wake up and have to shower in the dark). The final point is a very "American" complaint, but led 3 sleepless nights and had a negative impact on our trip. There *is* air conditioning but it turns off after an hour or two. The city sounds were incredibly loud when we left the window open, so we planned to use the air conditioning. We woke up drenched in sweat multiple times each night and had to restart the system. I mentioned this to the front desk and they told us that's just how their air conditioner works. These sleepless nights significantly impacted our trip, as we were very tired and unable to fully enjoy everything Heidelberg had to offer. In retrospect, I should've packed my things and found a different hotel.
I'm sure it's a lovely hotel in cooler months without construction/maintenance, however I was disappointed in my stay.

"Decent hotel, overpriced breakfast"
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean, although air conditioning does not stay on which is a bit of an issue on a hot night. Location moderate, not much in the immediate vicinity and currently a big building project going on around the hotel.
Biggest gripe was breakfast. 17 euros for a modest fare is WAY too expensive, with the result hardly anyone was taking it up. At 12 euros it would be a fair deal and I certainly would have gone for it each day.
Train station 10 mins away.
Hotel bar quite nice.

"Nice room, poor breakfast"
The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice too. But Wifi speed was very poor, most of the time had no signal. Breakfast was a big disappointment. For 13.50 Euro per person, the breakfast was very simple, with very limited options, no pastries, no fresh juice. Microwave cooked scrambled egg was way overcooked and tasted awful. Several other Premier Inns we stayed during the same trip (in other locations) had much better breakfast, and charged less.
Surrounding area was under constructions, so quite messy. It took some maneuvers to get to the hotel entrance.
