"just right"
Very good stay. We went when there was a County Championship match on, and had already been told we couldn't have a room overlooking the ground, but went anyway for a break in Worcester, as we hadn't been before. Checked in, opened the curtains, and found we were watching the game. A very nice surprise. I think someone in the Premier Inn call centre needs to brush up on their local knowledge! Anyway, with it being a bit rainy during our stay we saw quite a lot of both the match and the ground staff putting the covers on and off. Helped by Radio 5 extra on the telly giving us ball by ball coverage of the match. The hotel was great - no noise, helpful staff and pretty central, with lovely walks along the river Severn. Great stay.
"So far disappointed"
Just arrived room smells but we can’t open the window. Found things on the floor both in room and bathroom. Booked double but been given a family room. For the price so far not impressed with the standard hopefully that will change over our stay
"Very disappointing!"
We had a premier plus room on 3rd floor with a view of the cricket which was a cup semi final. The lift was out of order & previous reviews from last week also said this. The sign said an engineer had been called, perhaps he was coming from China! On arrival we waited at least 20 minutes to check in because the sole member of staff on reception was very slow and perhaps new. Other staff were around but did not assist. Our room whilst comfortable was not special other than the cricket view. We went down to the bar for a drink, but it took an age to be served. We then settled to watch the cricket from there as shown in there website photos. After a short time another member appeared and pulled the blinds down so we could not watch, apparently it is against ECB betting rules! Back up to our room then, and no return for our planned second drink. We went out to eat because of there hopeless service. Breakfast was no better. Booked for 9.30. I had the last of the bacon, no sausages, last egg, last tomato, last bread and butter. It's supposedly available until 10.30! I was told more sausages were coming out but they never appeared. When I asked for the 3rd time I was told they had changed to a plated service. We gave up. Overall very poor compared to our many other visits to Premier Inn. Disappointing.
"Warm friendly atmosphere"
Very friendly staff and most helpful x Food was excellent and value for money Rooms clean and the hotel was convenient for town centre, the bar was reasonably priced All round good experience and value for money
"There was no sympathy whatsoever. NEVER AGAIN Premier INN"
Despite the fact that my father passed away and I had to return home a day early, I will not be reimbursed for my day. There was no sympathy whatsoever. NEVER AGAIN Premier INN
