Worcester City Centre hotel

I don’t like writing poor reviews but in this instance it’s unavoidable. Me and my husband have stayed in many Premier Inns so this was our first choice when looking to stay overnight in Worcester. We booked a premium room and it was exactly what we expected, it was clean and comfortable. We booked the meal deal which included a two course meal, drink and breakfast the following day. The food was ok but the service was awful due to what I can only assume was caused by understaffing. We ordered our meals and waited nearly an hour before the meal arrived. The side order had been forgotten and was brought out when we had nearly completed the meal. We waited over half an hour for the waiter to ask if we wanted our desserts. We then waited a further 25 minutes to be told that the dessert I ordered was not available. My second choice was also not available. When I asked for the menu so I could make a different choice the waiter seemed somewhat annoyed and confused as to why I asked for one. At this point our drinks had still not been served and we had to ask for them. Can I make it clear, the restaurant was not busy with only 3 other tables being served. When we raised our concerns he just shrugged and walked off. We were unable to speak to the duty manager as we were told they were not available. Needless to say we left feeling very disappointed

Booked Early Check In,we arrived at 1130am,our allocated room wasn't ready so another one found.Why does check in at Premier In take soooo long? Room 305 Premier Plus was clean, AC was working well but,the bathroom is in need of a refit,the shower screen is loose and if that fell off there coulkd be a major problem and the mastic seal around the toilet must have been done by a 3 year old,awful job!! We have stayed at this Premier Inn many times and invariably, Breakfast has been a disappointment,not this time,they finally seem to have someone in the kitchen who knows what to do.My wife requested Porridge and a very helpful gentleman whom I assume was the Chef produced the Porridge in quick time and my wife said it was perfect,the hot food was also excellent,a first at this Inn for us.No proper decaf coffee,only satchets,come on Premier,catch up. All in all a nice stay ,great staff,great Breakfast for once,comfy bed,nice and quiet at night,8/10 let down by the bathroom!!

At every point in our stay, the staff was warm, helpful, accommodating, and made us feel at ease and truly cared for. The room was spacious, air-conditioned on a hot day, and the food at dinner was good! We cannot recommend this centrally-located hotel highly enough!

Did an overnight stop here. Booked accessible room with view of the Cricket Field. Fabulous. Managed to park for free in disabled bay just outside hotel on the road for free. This was an added bonus. Premier Inn have 2 disabled bays reserved on the adjacent Cricket Club car park also but these are payable. Massive zip and link comfy bed. All spotlessly clean. Windows dont open due to air con which is a massive neagative for us. Admission to cricket was free as was a women's match and all cricket club staff lovely and welcoming. Evening meal at Massalla just across road and again. this was excellent. Island (Greek and no. 1 on TA) is shut on Sundays sadly so beware. All staff delightful. Nice bar. Breakfast was pretty good as per Premier Inn. Would definitely stay here again.

Arrived and the car park was closed for the cricket which nobody told us about, all we had was a slightly aggressive guy saying “ it’s not for the premier in and only for cricket fans”! Booked early check in from 11am, arrived at 12:30pm and the room still wasn’t ready. 20mins later, room was finally available and they still charged us the full £15 and no apology. Not a great start but gave them the benefit of doubt. Rooms are a bit grubby and seen better days, beds are comfy though. Skip to breakfast the next day, they completely ran out of hot food and the queue was out the door, waited 20ish mins for food at a buffet line and they honestly need more staff to handle the breakfast rush. All in all, terrible and would never stay here again. Premier inn has really gone downhill in my mind but the price has gone up.
