Malvern hotel

Clean, but didn’t meet expectations. Room temp can’t be set below 19C, which would be OK except for the humidity. Temperature control stops when you leave the room, and control kept giving errors (apparently filters clogged). Shower gel might as well have been a bottle of water since it was so diluted. Haven’t seen internet this slow or inconsistent in at least a decade, but a £5/night faster is available. Limited restaurant service, so need to make reservation or drive elsewhere. Meal deal is a good value.

Parking varies considerably across the Premier Inn sites, but this place is one of the good ones with plentiful, free spaces immediately out the front of the hotel. The reception and restaurant areas were small but comfortable and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant on consequtive nights and the service both times was great. We used the meal deal which is good value and the food is pretty good for the price. Breakfast service was equally great and I was pleasantly surprised to see that unlike the larger Premier Inns where breakfast is self-service buffet style, here your order was taken and the plate served at your table. You could still eat as much as you want, but this way the food was piping hot and of a better standard compared to other stays where the food had been sat in heated trays for too long. There are no premier plus rooms at this hotel but the standard room was a reasonable size and comfortable. The maintenance of the room could be improved upon a bit though; notably the air con is in need of a service as it was not operating at the level I would expect, most likely due to the filters being due for a clean. Also, the air vent in the bathroom was very ineffective. After a 5 minute shower there was water on every serface inside the room due to the lack of ventilation. Given the window in the bedrooms can not be opened, it is even more important that the air con and bathroom vent work like new. Finally, and the reason for my overall rating of 5 rather than 4 stars, is the staff. Throughout my stay, every single member of the team was fantastic; all were very friendly, very keen to help and a credit to Premier Inn.

Stayed last weekend with four old school friends . Very pleasant stay . Rooms were clean and comfortable . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff . They were all great especially Nathan he went that extra mile to ensure we were happy . Thankyou Linda Waidson

The customer service by the staff was exemplary, as was the comfort of the bedroom and choice and delivery of the meals. The Meal Deal offer is a very good idea and we enjoyed an evening meal, with a glass of wine, and a full English breakfast the next morning for less than £30 per head which was exellent value.

Good easy to park car park, good experience at reception. Room more than adequate, could do with a bit of an ugrade but more than acceptable. Good bathroom, mattress comfy, very quiet night. Breakfast was excellent, relly nice young lady in charge. Individually cooked meals with any quantity you want. All items well cooked and very tasty. In Dec 2024 I stayed at a 5 star hotel in Edinburgh the Premier knocked them into touch with this breakfast. If in the Malvern area again the Premier In is my hotel of choice.
