Malvern hotel

Staff really pleasant, room really good and the food was top notch. EV charging available at next door health club or nearby supermarket.

Trip to the Malvern Show with Mum. Couldn’t have picked a better hotel. It’s the staff at this hotel that make it different from other hotels we’ve stayed at. It’s a small team of super people, all hard working, providing excellent food, drink and customer service. We will be returning !

We stayed there while at the Autumn Show at the Three Counties Showground from Thursday to Monday, the location of the hotel is approximately a 10 minute drive from the showground. It was excellent value since we had booked it in October 2025 and booked for 2027 before we had breakfast today, Monday, prior to departing. The room was very quiet and clean, as were the public areas we saw while moving through the hotel to our room. The service we received from all the staff, especially Linda, was exemplary and the food was excellent and very good value. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

This is not a reflection on the actual staff working in the hotel itself but is more of a disgrace for upper management. Premier Inn claims that 'you know what you get with a Premier' .... well that might have been true once but most definitely not anymore. The last couple of times that we have stayed at a Premier Inn it is obvious that the staff there are undermanned, overworked and that the upkeep of the rooms and building is no longer a priority and are unable to be maintained. When we arrived the reception was empty apart from the massive queue of customers that wanted to book in, the reason was because the lady at reception is also working in the restaurant because of lack of staff. The first thing that we were told was that if we wanted a table for dinner (we had a prior booking for a meal deal), that we should either go in now (1715) or wait until 2030 as they only had 15 tables! There were 166 people staying at the hotel, on the middle of an industrial site with nothing else around the hotel to provide dinner, what do you think people are going to need after a long journey! Then you are told that they do not clean rooms anymore if you are staying for more than one night unless you ask them ... paying that amount of money I should not be expected to ask for anything! We had 2 courses for dinner and I have to say that it was basic at the least. Cheap food thrown together on a plate and actually nothing to write home about ... we did comment that the burger would have been nicer from McDonalds ... and a lot cheaper. Then we went to our room. This was okay until you actually looked at the room, carpets not hoovered, tv cables covered in really thick dust and the shower itself was really tatty and old, not dirty, just really tired. The toilet paper is not a dispenser type method and I felt like I was actually in a service station toilet not my not so cheap hotel room. Breakfast the next morning was okay because the toast machine was working and that was about the best food that we had. Don't know what the miniature sausages were made of but they were disgusting. We paid nearly £230 for our one night at this hotel and it was definitely not worth it. You can stay in plenty of other 'high' end hotels for this price and actually feel as if you are a valued guest. Really sad that Premier Inns comments about 'you know what you are getting' should actually now mean the tatty rooms, overworked staff and below average food. Again, let me stress that this no way reflects the staff at this hotel who kept smiling whilst having to deal with tired, hungry and unhappy guests.
