"Fantastic stay."
The best premier inn we’ve ever stayed in. Perfect for if you’re visiting the safari park- it’s around a 5 minute drive away.
We stay here every time we visit the safari park and each time it gets better. It’s clean; staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing and fresh and the room was clean. We’ll be back later in the year, thankyou for another fantastic stay!

"Great stay for West Midlands safari park"
Fantastic stay here. Ideal location for West Midlands Safari Park. 7 minute drive.
Hotel was located right next to a small shopping centre, brilliant for picking up anything you’ve forgotten to pack. Really impressed with the family rooms, plenty of space and room was clean & comfortable. Only thing I’d have liked to have had was a mini fridge. Did miss that, especially in the lovely weather we had.
We had breakfast included, and all enjoyed the variety of food and drink.
We were on the 2nd floor so mainly used the stairs as the lift was slow, did use it and it was slow but not a huge issue at all to us.
Overall really impressed with our stay here, and would definitely come again if visiting the area/Safari park.

"A 'budget' Hotel apparently !11"
The hotel was generally 'tired'. There were a number of things that either failed to work or worked with help from staff, sometimes the help from staff was also not forthcoming.
1. The bathroom
a. The floor appeared to have not seen a mop for a very long time in the corners
b. The water from the top was VERY slow.
c. The 'jokey' sign 'Beware Hot Water' was very much a joke. You turned on the water, made a cup of tea and then came back to find it luke warm.
d. The shower got stuck ON and I had to get help to turn it off.
2. The room and service
a. The floors both in the room and the breakfast room really desperately needed a hoover.
b. When arranging to have the room serviced on the first day, I was (later told that I should have booked the service the day before we arrived !) I booked it at breakfast and NOTHING happened. I had to go and get staff to change the bed and mugs.
3. The lift
just a joke : it took an age to get anywhere and the signs were jokey too. If you are serious about this hotel being serviceable then the lift needs to be sorted out soonest.
4. Car parking
the 10 O'clock dash
It was not £6 as advertised but £7 and to charge this to park at an hotel is (in itself) unusual. If we overstayed we would have been fined. Not by Premier but by a private company !
5. Finally when I did make a comment to staff I was told 'well what do you expect this is a budget hotel !'
6. Recent stays for feedback forms are irrelevant as the form will not accept a 'recent; stay (Last Thursday 28/05/2026) as recent.

"Great breakfast experience, every time. Oh those eggs. Perfect"
Great stay at this hotel. In particular, I love that I get freshly cooked poached eggs (to perfection) every breakfast time! Thank you to Tracy and the other lovely young lady for doing this. It makes the perfect start!

"Great value - Best breakfast out there"
The Premier Inn is great value. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom with great shower. Space to work and to relax. Plenty of power sockets. And one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. All in all, a great stay and providing great value.
Just a few negatives:
- There is only one lift in operation and it is painfully slow - over a minute from ground to fourth floor
- TV is aging and small
- Limited menu in the evening - burgers, pizza, curries, pasta and fist
- Parking is £6 for 16:00-10:00 - but there is plenty of it and very convenient to hotel
Would I return again? Yes, most definitely if I needed to be in the area.
