"Perfect balance of quality and value."
I was attending a sewing course nearby andneeded somewheresafe, comfortable and not too dear. Premier inn Evesham met all those criteria. The staff at the beefeater were excellent I arrive 5 minutes before food stopped but they were more tan happy to take my order and the food was lovely. The room at the hotel had a fan whchi was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.
    "Needs some TLC"
This hotel, unlike most other Premier Inns we have stayed in, is in need of a deep clean and renovation. The common areas have a musty smell and the carpets are stained. The corridor leading to our room had a foul smell as if someone had been sick. We will not be staying here again and our confidence in Premier Inn having consistently high standards has been severely dented.
    "STUNK OF SEWAGE"
Stunk Of Sewage! So i travelled to this hotel for business, checked in got room key (24) went in and the room stunk to high heaven of sewage, went straight to reception who says, oh, im sorry the cleaners never informed us of the smell. Perhaps not, but the previous guests would have as im not the only one writing a review about this and i very much doubt anyone checked in, was greeted by the stench and thought, oh its not that bad! it was HORRIFIC. They went on to tell me, im sorry we're fully booked, would you like the number of head office, I said no, what i would have liked is for you to do your job, check the rooms and when they smell of sewage, don't offer them out for hire. This is BASIC hospitality, checking the rooms, from what im seeing is, the cleaners are not only responsible for cleaning, but also responsible for supervision management, because its quite clear, nobody else checked! On top of this, the place is tired, it looks it and feels it and to be honest, premier inn is going down the route Travelodge did years ago and just don't care, people have no pride in their jobs anymore, not at this hotel anyway and it shows, Overall, i hate giving bad reviews, but how long do you let bad behaviour continue before standing up. The rooms without the smell of sewage are worth £30 tops NOWHERE near £77 charged. Oh and for reference, I got a refund, and i would urge anyone, pay by credit card, not debit, then if you see this review, be assured premier inn DO KNOW about this, because as well as this review, I called them and spoke with Andrew Guest Relations Advisor and that way you can claw back your card if you need too, with debit card, its much harder.
"Comfortable bed but a disappointing overall experience."
Fairly comfortable bed and fairly quiet surroundings. However, the window sill had a thick layer of brick dust that had clearly blown in from the building works outside. The shower gel provided was so clearly watered down it was like just washing with water. I am sure that Baylis and Harding, which is the bottle it is provided in, would not want people to think that is the quality of their products.
    "Great service"
As is usually the case, the rooms were neat and tidy, the bathroom was fresh and clean (apart from dusty skirting boards) . The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate at the Beefeater next door and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We took advantage of the meal deal and enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast the next day. I would like to compliment the staff working in the restaurant, especially the two ladies who were working in the evening. One of them should have finished her shift at 1pm but a staff member called in sick. The staff member stood in and enabled the guests to enjoy their evening. We'll done ladies.
