Bromsgrove Central hotel

absolutely dismal food, and goodness knows what this will do to your reputation, I travel alone, and I stay at least once a week in different locations, I dont want to go out to eat out alone.

The service was great Sharisse and Steph were very accommodating, but unfortunately my steak wasn't great.

We have never stayed in a Premier Inn Plus before, we have used Premier Inns for years & never been disappointed, this was just a step up, we found it very comfortable, the coffee making machine was a great addition, as is the mini fridge & two bottles of water. They were very welcome as it was such a hot day!!! The breakfast was very good too. We will look out for the "Plus" again, & have the meal deal too.

Seriously understaffed I'm afraid which impacted the service we received- slow/ half hearted/ inefficient. Our restaurant meal cancelled with less than an hour's notice as no chef and nobody seened that bothered about this,despite the fact a couple of members of the party had limited mobility to go anywhere else. No iced water available in the middle of a heatwave and no air conditioned lounge made available until 5pm which meant we had to stay in the boiling hot rooms upon our return every day. One member of staff-( Steph) was excellent, working hard, multitasking and more than willing to put herself out to help, often going over and above. Sadly she was an exception. If the place had more staff like her- there wouldnt be an issue!! Rooms clean but BOILING HOT- obviously the management can't do much about this- but it's worth considering if you book in the hot weather. Rooms at front slightly cooler but not much in it! Fans are provided but don't make a lot of difference!! Front of inn very noisy however as roadworks outside and a metal plate covering a trench made a loud clanging to and from noise every time a car drove over it from the gym all the time from 6am . Again- not the management's fault but worth taking into account when booking.

Great little hotel - I would definitely recommend the premier plus rooms. Staff are helpful in the main however I would avoid eating in the restaurant. I was there for 2 nights and waited 90 mins for food on both nights. Very understaffed and one chef for all of the guess that struggle to manage the demand.
