"Good location, but no other eating options in the immediate vicinity."
This is a decent Premier Inn on the outskirts of Bromsgrove (10-15 minutes’ gentle walk from the centre along a quiet road), conveniently situated close to the A34. There is plenty of free parking next to the hotel. We stayed here in April 2026 for two midweek nights, bed & breakfast, paying a total of £278.00. The PI is no longer a genuine budget option, I am sorry to say.
Our room on the first floor was clean and comfortable, with the normal Premier Inn standards: excellent beds for a good night’s sleep, but no longer offering daily housecleaning by default, and with very little storage or hanging facilities in the room. The wifi signal in the room was good, and we did not need to upgrade to so-called ‘Ultimate Wifi’ for £5.00 per day – something that PI should provide for all visitors without extra charge. In the bathroom I was pleased to see that there was the option of a hand-held shower head in addition to the fixed, non-adjustable overhead one which you can’t turn on or off without getting your hair soaked. I have moaned about this in several previous PI reviews!
The restaurant/breakfast room was efficiently managed, with Steph providing friendly and helpful service the days we were there. All other staff members we came into contact with were similarly helpful. Breakfast was average in terms of quality, with some hot items being almost cold. The dinner menu is quite limited, but we were very pleased with what we ordered, and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, there is little or no choice of restaurant close by, because sadly, the Brewer’s Fayre opposite the hotel has now closed down. This alone would probably deter us from booking a room here again, even though our stay was quite pleasant and relaxing.

"Clean, comfortable, and generally very pleasant"
Stayed for one night at Premier Inn Bromsgrove. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and generally very pleasant, which made for a good overall stay.
It was a real shame that the pub next door was closed, as this would have enhanced the experience, particularly for a weekend stay. Having to take breakfast within a smaller space inside the hotel was slightly disappointing by comparison, as the usual pub setting adds a better atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and helpful overall. The receptionist could perhaps have been a little more upbeat, but the lady serving breakfast was excellent, very welcoming, and handled everything with a great attitude.

"Stay at the premier inn"
We booked a stay at the Premier inn birmingham road bromsgrove ,
As my wife said it would be an upgrade on the usual hotel..
Was £111.00 for the night including breakfast ..
The room was nice , clean and was very close to where we needed to go.
But we didn't anticipate the endless amount of kids running round when we return at 10 p.m
, as we were on the first floor, they were running up and down the hall ways , knocking on door ..
The resturant / breakfast area was very small so much so we could'nt get a drink last night..
So we slept abit, headed for breakfast to be told there was no oj.( any decent chef should order enough food and drink) .
The breakfast was bog standard and cold , but had the most stupid prongs to pick up the food, tiny.
So overall if you can get it for 50 with breakfast do it, if not avoid.

"Stay here."
This was the best premier inn we have stayed in by far. It was really clean, modern and had updated room layouts, including electrical fittings which in this day and age of having to charge everything was a great touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
