"Disappointed for the second time in a row - time to try other hotels"
Another disappointing stay at Premier, these have been my go-to short stay hotels for the last decade, but this is second in a row which was disappointing. Car parking is confusing (actually it's free) but you wouldn't know that unless you went to the reception and asked. The front door was broken, this is the second Premier inn stay in a row with a broken front door and this one had an apocalypse vibe due to the reception being on an upper floor the downstairs was deserted and litter was blowing in through the broken front door. The receptionist was nice enough even though he was clearly suffering from an horrendous cold, it's not want you want to welcome you. The rooms were nowhere near as nice as other Premier inns which is strange as they are usually identical - one of the reasons I stay, mine had nice view of the bins...
"The worst stay ever"
The worst hotel ever. I stayed there with 2 under 12 kids. My daughter had a competition the next day. She woke up because of the fire alarm crying and so frightened that I couldn’t calm her down!!! And I drove 4 hours and instead of rest we were all exhausted. The fire alarm took place 3 times - at 1:30am, at 5am and again at 6am. I was so angry I came to the reception team and what he told me - you shouldn’t shout. My child is now afraid to sleep in hotels. And we travel a lot due to competitions. And now she is constantly stressed.
"Fish Allergy clear help was given above and beyond what was expected"
The room was clean and tidy the air con worked. The food was good and as my wife has a fish allergy the staff looked after her needs during our stay. Bringing her food separately to our table and utilises at breakfast and dinner. We stayed for 3 nights
"Find somewhere else"
Absolute rip off. Awful room, dirty reception, smokers standing in entrance hall. Air conditioning in my accessible room was broken and you can’t open windows for fresh air. It was a sauna! Really disappointed with my stay at this hotel, especially as the price was £194 for one night!!! And I had to pay a further £10 for breakfast
"Very good experience."
Our stay was very straightforward, from booking, check in, stay and check out. Breakfast, as always, was very good with a wide selection. Staff friendly. Parking was shared with other businesses on the site but this wasn't a problem. Overall very happy with our stay and would recommend to others.
