"Rooms were too hot & restaurant was under staffed"
The staff were very good and the room was lovely and clean. The room was too hot. There is no air conditioning in this hotel and the window only opened about 2 inches due to health & safety. They gave us two fans which only recirculated the hot air. It was very unpleasant overnight. The restaurant only had one chef on the Saturday night so they only had a limited menu. Breakfast the next morning was a nightmare as it was Father’s Day and they prioritised bookings from non residents. Restaurant staff were very pleasant and worked hard

Excellent stay.
It was a very hot day and I was dubious about staying here as I knew there was no air con but the PI West was too far to travel and PI town centre is expensive to park so I thought I'd suck up the heat for a night.
I have to say it was no-where near as bad as I'd anticipated, the windows had been opened so a nice breeze came through. It was hot overnight but bearable.
Staff friendly.
Room was actually much nicer again than anticipated, its an older hotel but the room looked recently done up and it was very clean.
I would stay again.

Very clean, comfortable, very friendly staff. Very quiet, enough parking spaces. There is also a restaurant opposite where you can eat or have a drink.

Asked for a table for dinner in advance when we arrived told no meals available, poor service. Told closure due to lack of staff. Seems no back up plan in place, not the normal standard.

The room was big and comfortable, the bathroom needs updating to stop the damp in the walls. Unfortunately was the hottest night of the year, so room was showing as 29 deg from going to bed, to getting up. There are a couple of fans in the room, but not enough to cool the air. If it's going to be hot when you visit, be mindful it's hot and stuffy in the rooms.
