Salisbury South Milford hotel

Chicken burger undercooked!!! Night manager who was also rude and ignored me whilst I was speaking to her!!! Food poisoning, chefs do not check their food and are also lazy

Good location, the room was clean but very basic. We had to ask for an extra towel for one of our rooms, there were only 2 staff members on duty in the evening. One of them was the chef, server and cleared the tables. The other served drinks and ran check in. The menu was very limited with a large number of items missing. The fish and chips were very nice. We had to pay an extra £15 so that my elderly parents (92yrs and 94yrs) could get into their room 30mins early despite the fact the room was ready. It was very expensive for the standard we had. The free WiFi is useless.

Reception public toilet needed cleaning in ladies. Bathroom in room dirty behind the mixer taps in bath, toilet pan badly stained under water line. Breakfast was good for price. The receptionist was very helpful but seemed to be doing everything including cleaning the toilets! AC was efficient.

Our room was all you would expect. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Dining however was awful. Firstly, the restaurant itself. We stayed here two years ago and it was shabby then. This time it was just 2 years more shabby. Tired furniture, tired decor, and tired staff trying unsuccessfully to multi task. We were greeted at the podium with “We’ve no lettuce, no prawns and no chips”! The meals we eventually chose arrived looking over cooked and unappetising. We would have sent them back but there seemed little point in doing so. I’m convinced the stomach upset I had the following day was directly related to the chicken skewers I had. It’s 19 years since our first visit to a Premier Inn and we’ve never felt so let down. The point is that the next time we need a 1 or 2 night stay, we will be checking out the competitors first.

I stayed for 2 nights with my 9 year old child. On night number 2 my daughter was unwell and we went to reception to ask for some cleaning items to clear up. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They immediately found a spare room that we could move to, helped us move our belongings and insisted that I didn't need to clean up and they would deal with it. The staff were reassuring, kind and helped us feel safe. The hotel itself is next to a busy road and a large Tesco. The soundproofing is good so we weren't disturbed by any noise. There was enough car parking spaces, with the car park shared with a neighbouring McDonalds. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.
