Salisbury South Milford hotel

You know what to expect when you enter a Premier Inn hotel and this was no exception. The greeting was warm, the bedroom spotlessly Clean, bed comfortable and wide fit two people. Bathroom was excellent. Staff was particularly good under pressure at breakfast on the second of our three days stay. Always courteous and doing their absolute best. Could not fault it in any way perfect

I've used Premier Inns on previous occasions and found them modern, clean and comfortable. This time though left me disappointed. The ground floor room seemed very dark with little natural light. But the worst thing was the extremely off putting smell, a disgusting mix of damp and sweat. I don't know if it was my imagination but it made me itch. One of Premier Inn's selling points has been their comfortable mattresses but this one seemed hard. Is it my imagination or have they changed the design? Add to that the price was virtually double what I paid same the date last year and I'm mightily disappointed.

Very pleasant stay at South Milford Premier Inn. Staff were very welcoming and were available when needed. Room was very spacious and convenient as we were travelling with 2 bicycles. Room was very clean and comfortable as you would expect with a premier Inn. About a 30 minute walk to the city centre, which makes the location a good choice!

Stayed for one night whilst passing through. Unfortently it wasn’t quite up to the usual Premier Inn standard. Parking was easy enough but also used by the drive thru McDonald’s on the other side of the car park, so you might need to wait a little for a space. Check in using the machine was simple enough. They were quite stingy with the tea/ coffee in the room. Only 1 teabag and 2 coffee sachets. As there was 2 of us in the room, we ended up having these when we arrived so had to go and get more for the morning! The room was also very dusty. I noticed a layer of dust on the side and had to wipe a layer of dust off the kettle lid before filling! I also had to search around for a second big towel which for some reason had been put in the wardrobe rather than the bathroom. However the bed was really comfy and it was good value. I just think a little attention to detail isn’t hard and there is no excuse for dust!
