"Families should go elsewhere"
Disinterested and inefficient staff. Put us in wrong room (not enough beds for family). Then left FOH staff member to leave their desk and setup a new room which was clearly a compromised setup (far too small). Beds were fairly uncomfortable, WiFi pretty poor, parking was fine.
Room keys routinely deactivating. This was a poor stay and we left a day early. We have had far better experiences with premier inn at other locations. Maybe one to avoid for families.

"A fun and comfortable stay"
Fabulous stay in this hotel. Great, comfotable stay and relaxing. Friendly staff and great with kids. Easy check in, great value and the kids' beds were all ready on our arrival. All staff very personable, particularly the lady who was working in the restaurant in the evening. The kids are asking when we can stay again. Easy walking distance to Tesco, McDonald's and a very short drive to Salisbury and its attractions.

"OK, not the best example of a Premier Inn hotel"
Staff were pleasant and helpful, parking shared with McD's, not especially clean, rooms a good size but ours smelled of smoke, restaurant area jaded, no draft beer, breakfast quite good. Location by a huge Tesco and industrial estate, no restaurants nearby (apart from Premier Inn which isn't great). Close enough to Salisbury to walk in to town.
Rooms have aircon, but that does randomly turn off.
If visiting again I'd probably try self catering.

"Ear plugs mybe required"
Ear plugs mybe required if you don't like the sound of central air. The room is clean and spacious, staff very pleasant and helpful. Restaurant on site at reasonable prices.

Hotel description
Home to beautiful country views and an exciting medieval history, scenic Salisbury is an ideal place to escape to. Start your stay with a visit to Salisbury Cathedral. As well as having the tallest spire in Britain, this stunning landmark also houses one of only four original copies of the Magna Carta. Visiting the famous - and mysterious - Stonehenge is a must, and The Salisbury Museum is a great spot for history-lovers. Alternatively, you can enjoy a fun day out at Salisbury Racecourse, before returning for a tasty meal at our in-house Thyme restaurant.
