Salisbury North Bishopdown hotel

I brought my elderly Mother here. I sent a message to ensure we had a ground floor room, as she has limited mobility. We were provided with this, twin beds and a wet room. This was sizeable and in good condition. We could also park right outside in a disabled bay. The location was perfect for the two nights, so we could visit and explore Salisbury and the surrounding area. The staff were helpful, especially Natalie when it came to breakfast, as I have food intolerances. The food was great, with such a wide choice. I've been here before and wouldn't hesitate to return. The price of the stay was a little more than we had budgeted for, but I feel it is worth it as we know the quality of Premier Inn North Bishopdown. It's difficult to criticise anything, but the fan in the wet room wasn't working and we struggled to adjust the air con to suit our requirements.

Positive first… The room was clean and very comfortable as I would expect. The staff were not very friendly and were very impersonal. It appeared to be above their pay grade to interact with customers. I felt my location at the hotel was disclosed by someone in the hotel. I can’t say if it was staff or another person staying in the hotel. I was there as a getaway location and thought everything was confidential. My first and last

Third time we have stayed here, and probably the last. We felt sorry for the staff,they seemed to be under pressure continuously, As for the hotel,i cannot believe how it has deteriated so quickly. There was no desk in the room,there was a leak in the bathroom, which was like a swamp. As for the meal. deal, it was always pretty good value. Not any more,it was very poor. The burger was dry,there was about 12 chips and about a teaspoon of coleslaw. Come on premier inn sort yourself out,or you will lose many more clients.

Absolutely shocking experience Staff are not great the customer service is shocking you get sighed at or you have to chase them All dinner was served apart from my sons who we then had to chase that up to which the lady looked disgusted that she had to do something instead of standing at the till watching everyone She was rude when we placed our order almost like she couldn’t be bothered The food is awful we left it and then ordered in I have stayed at many premier inns this is by far the worst experience I have had

Disappointing…air conditioning v weak and difficult to control, hence v poor sleep in the night. Towel allocation for two people could be more generous. Poor signage.
