Marlborough hotel

No complaints about the room, spacious, very clean, quiet with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The catering however was truly dreadful, it took the understaffed restaurant 2 hours to produce 2 bowls of pasta, staff 'forgot' to pass on our original order and took absolutely no notice of 2 diners sitting at a clearly visible table with nothing to eat!!! Our experience wasn't unique, 2 left the room well after ordering having given up all hope of service. The staff obviously had no idea how a restaurant should be run and cleared when diners (the lucky ones) completed their meal. Breakfast wasn't much better, no tomatoes, coloured slurry purporting to be strawberry yogurt and flacid pastries.

Very good location, nice rooms and showers. Breakfast was very disappointing, lack of bread choice, cooked breakfast overcooked and dry, croissant soggy, and messy fruit compote. Dinner was better but still the food was very basic, I wouldnt want to eat in the premier inn more than 1 night if i was staying there for few nights The evening staff worked very hard and tried their best.

Comfortable room wih aircon. Friendly and efficient check in. Plenty of free parking. Good dinner and breakfast in he attached restaurant.

Great location with easy parking. Friendly efficient check in and quiet clean room. Restaurant service both dinner and breakfast excellent.

Whilst the outside of the Premier Inn at Marlborough looked quite nice, our room was a totally different story. In particular, the bathroom. The location of the Premier Inn is a long way from the centre of Marlborough and a very good stretch of the legs. Would not stay here again, purely on the lack of cleanliness. Seems Premier Inn are trying to run on as low amount of staff as possible.
