"Dirty and noisy room"
I had booked a nearby Travelodge but after booking, I read the reviews and decided to cancel there and rebook this Premier Inn. Can’t go wrong with a Premier inn right?! Well, when we eventually got in (driving in and out of the petrol garage to find it haha) we were met with a ‘digital check in screen’. Why have you done this Premier Inn?????? After filling out my life’s worth of details, the woman at reception hearing I was getting the hump with the screen and not offering to help, I eventually managed it.
We went up to our room which was pretty worn but it’s ok, it’s only one night, then saw crunched up crisps and a chocolate wrapper on the floor. I didn’t bother complaining, just picked it up and threw it away as it was late and we were shattered.
We didn’t get any sleep because the person upstairs must have been training for a marathon and weight lifting all night. Stomping up and down the room constantly, sounded like they were throwing things around rather than putting things down normally.
Breakfast in the morning was nice, restaurant staff were friendly.
But room wise, I expected A LOT more.

"Okay overall"
Overall it was fine for what we needed. Our rooms were really far away from reception - not ideal with two very young children having to walk so far every time we needed to leave or go for a meal. The evening meals weren’t great and it took ages to order due to it being very busy (they allow walk-ins so do not just cater for the hotel but it was far too busy). The breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly. Car park was full when we arrived.

"Terrible Service in a short stay"
The service was sub standard. We briefly stepped away from our table for no more than a minute. On returning, we found that our plates had been cleared, despite the fact that our meal was not finished. While I appreciate that the staff member was carrying out their duties, the situation itself should have been handled with greater care. However, what was far more concerning was the behaviour of the manager when I raised this issue. Rather than acknowledging the situation or offering a simple apology, she responded in an aggressive and dismissive manner, insisting that we had been away for three minutes and that her staff member was “just doing her job.” Her tone and approach were unnecessarily confrontational and fell well below the standards expected in a customer-facing role.
This interaction left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. There was no attempt to de-escalate the situation or resolve the issue professionally.

"Great staff but time to review the restaurant facilities"
Cleanliness of room was decent though there were ants between bathroom and bedroom . Moved room which helped .
No lift so not great if not particularly mobile if placed upstairs .
Staff were as always very helpful . Your staff without doubt save your business time and again
The Brewers Faye’s next door was shabby and run down . Meals were at best mediocre so only has evening meal meal 40% of our stay.
Parking in evening was grim. Many work vehicles , one a line painter that took 5 spaces .

"Great Pit Stop for Business Travel"
Stopped here for a night on business. Used solely as a place to relax and crash after a massive drive. Everything was spot on; quiet location considering the surrounding area, clean room and friendly welcome. Would stay again.
