"Good standard Premier Inn stuff..."
You could probably stay somewhere more atmospheric, given the lovely area surrounding it, but if you just need to stop off for the night as we did and rush off first thing, it's fine! Free parking, helpful and friendly staff and the room was standard Premier Inn stuff. I do find the wifi allowance a bit stingy, however- I bought Ultimate as I thought I may need to catch up on work, but only one device is allowed! and as anyone who ever stayed in a PI knows, the standard wifi is generally not too great. (This is a higher management problem, not at all the fault of this individual hotel). Breakfast is in the pub just a few steps away and all is good. You're also close to a 24 hour M and S and a Morrisons is just across the main road.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. Bed was firm but quite comfortable. We don't recommend the deep fried food in the restaurant - it was tasteless and over-greasy. The bar area was very noisy but there is a child-free zone which is marginally quieter.
"Comfortable room and good breakfast"
Helpful staff. Standard double room had all we needed, including inset ceiling lights which were bright enough to read by. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. We booked breakfast at the nearby Beefeater, which was next door to the hotel. The buffet breakfast, both continental option and cooked, was very good with plenty of choice. The pastries were warm, crisp and delicious. There was fresh fruit salad and yoghurts available as well as cereal and the usual fried breakfast items. Very good value.
"Amazing Experience! Great team. Great Hotel. Great stay."
I stayed at the hotel with a group of children for a school trip for two nights and the help and support we received was nothing but outstanding! We had some challenges over the two days (as you would with a group of teenagers) but there was always so much help to find a solution to every problem! Shout out to the following staff! Corey, Hosneara, Gina, Flo, Lee, Maria, Steve and Thomas. Corey in particular - amazing front of house man! - nothing was too much of a problem and he stayed late after his shift to make sure things were handed over properly to the next team; and always with a smile. The restaurant team opened up early for breakfast especially for us, which was amazing! Thank you and well done to all the premier inn team at Chippenham. Highly recommend.
