"Unhelpful."
Accessible room 24 a long long way from reception. This room is too far away from reception to be Accessible.
Litter bin overflowing on entry. You'll get rats if you don't empty 99regularly. Not a welcoming sight.
Staff unhelpful. They just seemed disinterested.

"Cheaper than York. Friendly staff."
The first room we had smelt like wet dog, but we were quickly moved. Big a clean. The guy on reception was really friendly. It's near the main road, so can be too loud at night with the windows open, but it's a convenient location. Just over 30 mins to York and significantly cheaper

"Great Staff Doing Impossible Job - Really Poor Prem Inn"
Will be going elsewhere in future…..
Stayed a few times but this is a hotel in decline. This visit a distinct absence of staff - who were great when appeared but clearly stretched across hotel & “pub” (will come on to that). Rooms & hotel looking distinctly tired.
Now…. “The pub” next door, which used to provide a good ambience, full menu of drinks & food…. However now is clearly being left to run down - 4 of the beers not on, leaving a wide choice of 2; only 2 choices red wine (I asked); multiple menu items not available; & apart from hotel guests place is dead. When asked about this was explained had recently reopened to “see how it goes”.
Either offer a full restaurant menu and drinks offer / advise in advance if not so forewarned & can make informed choice / drop the room rate to reflect above. Having paid in advance for a “meal deal” I fear for the breakfast offer tomorrow……
Will be going elsewhere in the future.
Great staff do an impossible job. Really poor Premier Inn.

"You cannot speak to anyone!!!!"
I left my coat in the room and have been unable to a) reach anyone on the phone b) had any response to my email(s). Basically the whole organisation seems to be run by AI assistance and you have no way of dealing with any issues or getting any issues resolved. I won't be using an Premier Inn ever again as I do not want to stay somewhere where you cannot get issues resolved liked this.

Had a wonderful time at pontefract premier inn , staff were very friendly and sue made my daughters 21st birthday extra special , we have been going here for 9 years , ate at restaurant for 3 nights and were very accommodating for our 2. Year toddler
